>is the only good SaGa game in you're path

Frontier > 3 >= 2, but yeah 2 is a great game.

game is 100 years ahead of its time. it's still gonna take 70 more years for anything as good to be made.

I liked SaGa 2, Scarlet Grace, Emerald Beyond, Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song, and Last Remnant all just about as much as RS2. 2 may arguably be the "best" but just about all SaGa games bring something different to the table.

Minstrel Song, SaGa Frontier 2 , Unlimited SaGa and Scarlet Grace are all good

Worth a play if I loved 3, the broken mess?

I'll give it a try. Played the demo of the remake, felt horrible.

If anything it's the odd outlier that has tremendous impact on the series. Interesting to think the glimmer system came from SaGa 2 was retrofitted to even the first game. I can't imagine how much this game must've blown away JRPG fans back in 1993.
