Which strategy game had the best story?
Not sure if best but pic related is really good. Mandalore has a video walkthrough of it
>>1784901>be scientists>find out weird egg shaped thing>somehow figure out it’s a one way Time MachineHow did they know it’s a Time Machine if it’s one way
Age of Wonders 1 has a really good story. Not everyone joining together against one evil as it usually goes, it's several races all fighting for survival or supremacy. It even has branching paths. The final level has 5 different races all fighting one another in a huge map, it's glorious

>>1784901Most entertaining? Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge Best? XCOM Enemy Unknown>>1784972>Mandalore has a video walkthrough of itSo it's for trannies? Thanks for the heads up.
>>1784901>Kde kurva naši předci sebrali takovýhle zbraně? Vždyť jsou líp vyzbrojení než my.
>>1785719I personally liked the very unsatisfactory Undead ending
>>1784901oof that's a thought one.* Warcraft III for certain has one of the top ones. * C&C II Tiberium Wars is arguably the most "cinematic" of the early strat games.* C&C III is fucking GREAT, but the DLC is just a victory lap* Starcraft I and DLC are great good stories and arguably the first strat game to really tell one.* Everything non-Kerrigan related in Starcraft II is great.* Dawn of War II Retribution is sweet af and you ain't gonna tell me otherwise.* The 3 campaigns of Age of Empires III good fun even if the game was weird for an AoE entry.* St. d'Arc's campaign in AoEII is good tooBut Homeworld I is the ABSOLUTE GOAT of strat game storytelling. In the last 10 to 20 years there's been a shift and story centric management /colony sim games started repacing story centric strat games. The well is pretty dry these days>>1785719AoW 3 is a reprise of 1's story but the necromancer DLC is pretty great
>>1784901You've just posted it.>>1785260Read the source novel and you will know, faggot.
