Looks like Rome kino with an actual (sorta) combat is back on the menu boys!
crack when?
Is this like Caesar 3? The UI looks more greek than Roman and also like a copy of civ (ugly)this screen looks like civ too >>1875949
>>1876016yes
>>1875951>>1875949>>1875947Mobile game, buy an ad
>>1876016It looks like a more modern Ceasar 2
>>1875947Better than ARA
>>1876342No, I don't think I will.
It's too easy and feels dried out after a while, but that's fine.
>>1875951Combat looks like a mobile game. Lol.
>>1876342I got done demoing it and kek it is a mobile game
>>1875947Looks too much like a mobile game, so much so that it distracts you from immersing yourself into this Roman era. There's a real lack of a soundscape, sure there's some "living city" sounds once you zoom in, but most of the time you'll be zoomed out as usual in these types of games and the game is pretty much quiet when you're on a comfortable zoom level. Also citizens don't say anything when you click on them. lack of soul/10, I'd rather just play Caesar or Zeus
I don't think it looks like a mobile game. imo it seems to have some of the best graphics for a citybuilder released in a while barring Cities Skylines 2. The most 'mobile game' type stuff you see in game are the character portraits but i do appreciate how they have cutaways into the interiors of all the buildings. I didn't even expect the base price to be 25USD so i think its pretty great at that price too.
>>1882785Zeus has fucked animations, the one patch that's out to address it can't even fix them all
>>1875947How do those aqueducts work?
>>1883836bucket chain mechanism
>>1883844Powered by a waterwheel?
>>1883912or slaves. doubt they ever made ones so tall though
>>1875947I played a bit and it made me feel like I was about to get hit with a popup saying:>do you want to recharge your energy for $1.99?The UI is a major turn off and so are the graphics. Looks too... clean I guess? Also it makes my GPU really toasty and with the game looking like it does there's really no reason for it.
