Just got this baby running. Are there any good mods for it? I already got the 4.11 patch and TAK Plus installed. Azurian race mod seems to give me errors, so I uninstalled it.
>>1890792Modding community for TA kingdoms is pretty shit, Vanilla is enough.
Damn. Fucking love this game. Complete underrated gem.
>Instruction manual says that half the kids were black>All of them are white in game>For some reason, the ruler of Verona looks like a fishwomanYeah, not a fan of these designs, they look super generic. Fantastically written lore in the instruction book, however. I could read an entire novel if it's written just like this.
>>1890867It says two were fair and two were dark. 'Dark' in this context refers to their hair and eye color. It's like how retards make jokes about 'black Irish' when that just means Irish people with dark hair and eyes.
>>1890897The instruction book says that the dude's wife was tanned, tho. How else are you supposed to interpret this, especially when she came from some sort of far-away exotic land? Apparently, the same guy also got a male groom while he was grieving the loss of his wife. Honestly, this story seems to be going places, shame that it's going to end up rather predictable, considering this is just a backdrop for an RTS.Is there really no tutorial mode for this game? I mean, it's not hard to understand, but some basic tactic and control practice would be nice. Only 5th mission in and the game already asks me to commit a zerg-rush genocide with a monarch character. I'm not complaining, but slow the fuck down dude.
If we're complaining about petty stuff in the game. I have to say TAK has the worst opening cinematic I have even seen in video game. It's just slides of concept arts with exposition dump delivered without emotions. It sucks especially in comparison to the original TA intro that was amazing and really pumped you up for the game.
>>1890900There's no other way to read what the book meant by fair and dark. Tell me you're a mutt without telling me.

>>1890792I remember this game didn't allow you to speed up production with your builder units, and the barracks would conjure units rather rapidly in the first place. I liked that, and I dislike how in every other such game, be it TA or SupCom or BAR, you absolutely have to have dozens and dozens of engineers to speed up every factory.
>>1890932It's been a while but I'm pretty sure you can actually speed up production with builders, it costs a lot more mana though.

>>1890903Yes, but the cutscenes between missions, as well as the entire campaign, are very engaging. I like this style with maps and portraits, it resembles some historical documentary on the discovery channel
