Alpha Centauri is an Empire Builder Civ like game exploring an unknown planet. Zephon, first and foremost is a Wargame with some 4X elements about conquering the ruins of an eldritch post apocalypse, the two are barely alike. Zephon is not a successor to Alpha Centauri, it doesn't want to be a successor and it shouldn't even regarded to be as the next Alpha Centauri.
