or rather this day, i just copypasted it off wikipedia.
last thread hit image limit so OP quickly secured a new one to show everybody his epic goy4 meme but didn't bother to update this week in history, not even fixing the glaring mistake
well i can't delete this thread so that's what you're stuck with, also i'd like to be able to post my grobgermaniums in this general.Nov 17, 887 – Emperor Charles the Fat is deposed by the Frankish magnates in an assembly at Frankfurt,[1] leading his nephew, Arnulf of Carinthia, to declare himself king of the East Frankish Kingdom in late November.Nov 18, 1105 – Maginulfo is elected Antipope Sylvester IV in opposition to Pope Paschal II.Nov 19, 1493 – Christopher Columbus goes ashore on an island called Borinquen he first saw the day before. that's too groB imo
i just wanted to see what the new reichskomissariats were like.
it's ok i understand, i knew you were always on the spectrum
if you see a gibberish post cherish it because it was made by a drunk me
it is done. the screencap looks so ugly tho ugh...started with spain rivaling me so i allied savoy and venice half the game. was really struggling with gov cap literally until that gov reform for expand admin cost. juggling between truces sucked since i don't really pay attention. had no problem militarily all game long despite taking explo+expansion first. established quebec and tried to do lousiana but got memed on as they got full annexed by the natives and i could not interfere. savoy and venice got seperate peace'd and broke their alliance with me then join the coalition against me and i didn't notice it at all. plc got really gross i believe because i killed the ottermans while trying to help venice blob, eastern hre then got streamrolled easily by them since i had weaken the emperor. believe it or not i dismantled hre just recently, the only member being austria (emperor) and venice (normal member). was completely struggling with navy even tho i invested in it too, so i only bullied england once.
Is this grand strategy?
you did it as the wrong country, retard
>>1898788is that vanilla? does eu4 usually have so many gigablobs towards the end?are you going to continue this save in vic2 btw?
yes i only play vanilla. that's because i ate the hre duh but else is pretty much normal. no i only do eu4 and ck3.
hot dayuuumm
I had no idea they had changed this adviser to be so game changing. I checked around and it looks like of the nations with focus trees, only Romania and New Zealand also have one.Soviets also have one but it isn't an expert. And I'm not certain, but it looks like because it is a unique adviser trait that doesn't actually appear in the general's details (if the adviser is even a general, I think the German one is the only one that is) then you can't even level the trait up through extended use.
is victoria 3 good yet?is eu5 looking to be a good game so far?is ck3 as good as ck2 now?
nopenopealways was
schizo thread full of people screaming into the void
nopeyeplol no
noyesnever played ck2, but ck3 is pretty fun, if you play as a landless character its basically an rpg
I thought baldwin didn't wear a maskwhy does he wear a mask in ck3?is it literally just because kingdom of heaven was getting a resurgence in popularity around the time of the release of the expansion?
>>1899004Why is Elagabalus a woman?
any other mod recs? this is for a mega campaign, I'd rather not get bored as I wait for 1444

crazy how london was a safer place to live in 120 AD than today
>>1899126toppu
^sigh fine i'll be bottom
What should I do for my next goy4 game? Apparently the Congo is kind of broken. I wanted to do Paraguay last update but it was fairly difficult and I got bored, but I'm kind of interested in coming back to try it again. I also discovered how insane the Airborne Assault adviser is, but I didn't get to really make much use of him in my Germany game since you're so insanely strong. I'm slightly tempted to do one of the alt paths and just use the Fallschirmjagers more heavily to take advantage of it. Alternatively, Romania and New Zealand also have the same adviser. It could be interesting to try and do the same thing with New Zealand but I'm sure it would be prohibitively difficult since you have almost zero manpower, I'd likely only be able to have a handful of para divisions. Romania could be neat but that whole region just isn't particularly interesting to me.
>>1899175Another fun option I guess would be to do the China-aligned path. Get Qingdao, and then jump on Tokyo.
get a better texture pack
vgh... mein volksreich...

>discuss with a guy about how much french was napoleon>tell him that it's complex, because he was born in an italian family that moved to corsica just some years prior to the french annexation, and that he was raised in corsican and the french nobility looked down on him>he tells me france and north italy are similar because france = gauls = north italy = gauls>tell him that's nonsense because north italy was conquered by the latins, then goths, then lombards, it changed drastically through the centuries and he is skipping that>tell him he is clearly conflating linguistic categories, culture and race and skipping over national identity>he tells me there's a genetic similarity in the R1b haplogroup>tell him that's an oversimplification because even in germany there's distinct genetic differences between the scandinavian north and the south>he tells me no, germany and france are genetically similar, just as the "English are 75% French by DNA">English is 75% French by DNAfucking lolit's over english bros, ya'll frenchmen in the closetbased haploautism
haploautists are stupid as fuck and should never be taken seriously, they're on the same level as women into astrology
>>1899394Aren't Italians always looked down upon for being Meds in these kind of race discourses? Weird that he said this when Napoleon also thought this way. But yeah, I wouldn't say Napoleon was French or Italian, he hoped for a united Europe, free of divisions and g*rmanic autism, a true visionary.
gay sex general (/vst/ even gayer edition)
Have you guys heard how Spain starts with helicopters?
They don't and it irks me that parakikes didn't name it properly>The Cierva C.30 is an autogyro designed by Juan de la Cierva and built under licence from the Cierva Autogiro Company by A V Roe & Co Ltd (Avro), Lioré-et-Olivier and Focke-Wulf.>An autogyro (from Greek αὐτός and γύρος, "self-turning"), or gyroplane, is a class of rotorcraft that uses an unpowered rotor in free autorotation to develop lift. While similar to a helicopter rotor in appearance, the autogyro's unpowered rotor disc must have air flowing upward across it to make it rotate.
>ERM ACTUALLY ITS NOT LE HELICOPTER BECAUSE THE BLADES ARENT PROPERLY ANGLED TO BE A HELICOPTERshow me three (3) people who give a single shit

how in the FUCK are you supposed to gain enough prestige as a landless adventurer to do an empire invasion? legenday figure and 5000 prestige, I get it should be hard to invade an empire, but this seems completely impossible to do in a single lifetime
so this is a troon right?https://www.youtube.com/@HeyCara
you have to ask?
>>1899478It probably gets easier once you've got all the upgrades. Late-game landed is absolutely swimming in prestige. Also win a lot of tournaments and stuff I guess.
possible, but you never know

"No"I'm shitting up your thread janny
So MEFO's (based and redpilled MMT) are strictly worse than the cuckpath of economic recovery in every way right? The only thing MEFO has going for it is based Goering in the inner circle, but you can't get rid of the debuffs until you take the caucases at which point the game is basically over.
not strictly worse, they're better early game, they're less consumer goods until you finish the first 4 eco focuses, so you waste less time fixing the consoomer goods, plus you get your eco advisor cheaplyit's a question of when you wanna start building mils and how quickly you want to go to war
>>1899596You can lose the debuffs in like 1938.Overall, I think MEFO bills are way better for a human player that knows how to play. If you're in MP or something then yeah MEFO is trash. I don't think the AI can handle MEFO bills either.
>every historical game on the new update Brazil has made their own faction>realize 5 years into my Paraguay campaign they are in the Allies
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
let me update your.. epe.. if you catch my drift.
>5 years int oa paraguay campaignwhat does one do to keep themselves occupied for 5 years in hoi4 as paraguay, pray tell?
>>1899685what mod>>1899690Watch Narcos while fast forwarding. Though you can kick off war with Argentina and Brazil much earlier than I did. I'm still experimenting with different paths. I thought waiting would help maximize the foreign naval advisers I could get later due to a misconception. Also this path was tempting because you could get Total Mobilization fairly early on.
what mod and what cheats
>>1898727Why is this a general? The whole board is strategy related, plus you guys only post about paradox games. Maybe rename the thread paradox games general.
