It's a fine Total War game, but it doesn't stand out compared with the rest of the series. I've gone back to Shogun 2 and 3K.
>>1907130For post-Rome II standards and despite all the drama, it is unironically one of the best along with Atilla and 3K. Not sure about Warhammer because I didn't play those. It has a lot of the same problems Rome II has, just not as bad and more polished. Also, it still doesn't hold a candle to the good pre-Rome II titles, anyway.Worth a go if you like the Bronze Age, it's an underrated setting. It's just unfortunate that the first proper Bronze Age TW game had to be a fucking Rome II fork, but maybe it failing has given CA enough reason to finally innovate.
>>1907130we wuz pharaohs
>>1907130Never was, never will be.Attila/Thrones of Britannia was the last okay-ish TW with kindly omitting Rome 2.
Feels like hyper warhammer but pseudo historical.Seriously the amount of retarded boardgame mechanics taped onto everything is nauseating.
>>1907130>So, is it any good now?No
>>1910855Yeah, I get taking creative liberties for the Sea Peoples and Bronze Age Greece, that much is fair, but trying to give every character a quirky one-note personality made the thing feel like a Warhammer knock-off rather than a proper historical title.
