I got a couple of pretty decent Irene generations with NAI V4, gonna catbox the best ones and dump them here.
It's actually quite hard to get her design right - the raccoon tends to leave her shirt, and that single white strand is a nightmare to incorporate in your prompts. Some of my best results had the strand missing or on the wrong side.

It's so refreshing to see an eastern RPG where named characters actually die (and remain dead).
You think we'll see some major character deaths in Banished Children?
>>
>>1921149
The East Alliance high commissioner guy is fucked because Yellow Dragon is an enemy faction and Ryo's on the war path to win the game of dragons. Other than that, maybe Heixing because of how broken his body already is. Him dying would influence Carter as well, so it would have plot repercussions.

I wouldn't mind a thrilling development like that, but I feel like he's too important to die since we still have yet to learn of his relationship with Hakuya.
Ray "the innocent" would be a prime candidate whose death wouldn't interfere with the main story too much.
>>
>>1921169
Absolutely mogged.
>>
When it comes to One Head, the swordsman mastery set, does it still trigger on bladestorm or does it have to be 1 attack?
>>
>>1921259
Eh, I feel at this point Ray's death would be a bit too much of a fridging. I.E. killing her for the sake of another character's development rather than as a result of her own character arc. She's already a bit of a weak character IMO and just getting rid of her would be cheap.

>>
>>1922363
It's the same logic as One Shot One Kill, so it has to be 1 hit. If your main attack misses and Bladestorm kills them it'll still work, but it won't work as a double tap.
>>
>>1922625
I think Third Heart actually fucked him. Ben has the Immortal set for Heart of Lunacy so he would have lived if he didn't have it.
>>
>>1922625
>>1922692
Nevermind, looking at it closer he wasn't raged and the first hit of Cross Slash did ~7k. He wouldn't have gotten Immortality anyway.
>>
>>1922700
Yeah, I was specifically baiting him out so he wouldn't rage, but then he suddenly gets up with third heart instead. Human mooks get these shenanigans all the time now, which can get pretty funny. Animals, on the other hand, became much more annoying. It feels like every other beast has Protective coloration so after a while you have half the map sitting around with immortality on, making the level that much longer to beat.
>>
>>1922715
Breaking enemies with Immortality is one of the reasons why I like to run camo-based Hunter Giselle. If you Surprise someone it counts as them taking a turn so all their buffs tick down. I discovered that in Joint Training as a way around Scott who likes to AT hell himself to 300+ with respawn invulnerability.

It doesn't even make things difficult, just adds the mild annoyance of dealing with 10 more crabs for 1 more turn.
On a different note, did robots get anything new at all? Did a quick stress test at 60S since 58V got pretty stale already, and it felt like they were considerably weaker than pre-limit break. Or maybe I just got too op to notice anything
>>
>>1922769
Several of Dandy's destron builds are autistically balanced for Compatibility Augmentation to give its highest-TP bonus to the specific stat they want, so Challenge Mode ironically nerfs them by screwing with their point balance.
>>
>>1922776
So that's why their HP values were lower than what it said in the list (before LB). Does limit break still fuck it up or are they able to work with the new stuff?
>>
>>1922785
It'd probably fuck it up even more since a lot of their categories are already at the 10 slot limit to begin with.

Dang. Oh well, not like it would matter in the long run. They fold extremely easily anyway. Another quick run, just look at how little damage they've dished out even with high risk on. I guess there's still nothing better than the monkey mines to stress test builds.
>>
>>1922809
I'm pretty sure Limit Break was a stealth way for Dandylion to make the DLCs easier rather than extra difficulty. If you don't run it combined with Challenge Mode it's 10 free points + illegally large mastery boards, and it unlocks at the point where a lot of more casual players get their face kicked in. By coincidence (kek, as if) it also gives you space for Darkness Hunter on everyone when the most difficult maps in the game are night maps full of responsive attacks.

They really missed their chance with some of the classes.
Fire/Lightning Magic Knights with amazing damage multipliers are far too cool a concept to be locked behind 2-3 missions, and don't even get me started on damage sponge Earth/Ice MK's with Avalon.
Not having any Superstar enemies (despite some units being Dancers), or Engineers/Hackers (besides Pascal) was also a mistake since they already put a ton of effort into these classes. Anti hacking modules are fucking useless since no one besides other players in PVP will ever attempt to hack your drones.

This is complaining on very high niveau, however. I'd just like to see Dandylion make full use of the elaborate systems they have created.

None of them are good. The most recent set they got "Dodge all responsive attacks while all your attacks are undodgeable" is OK to play around with considering the final maps are Red Sand's punishing shot hell and Mungo's mimicking evasion, but the damage output just isn't there. I guess if I had to pick one, it'd be Earth Yasha, just for Stone Throwing being one of the most broken masteries in the game and the only thing allowing you to properly experiment with the absurd number of Yasha-specific "Landing a critical hit on an enemy" masteries.

I've never seen that one before. Cool set.
For Yashas you can get gigadick damage on Lightning Yasha by going for an elemental build. There's a lightning mastery set that reduces enemy resistance by 5% per lightning mastery and it's pretty easy to get it to 0. That combined with all the crit damage from lightning sets makes them output serious pain.

Yeah his personal skill inflicts Revealed whenever anyone ends a turn within a huge radius, even through walls. It's pretty funny to see him do it to the crabmits when they try to burrow. Units with Sneakily, Stealthily or the Machine version of the mastery don't get affected by it.

giselle >= alisa > ray > bianca = misty > kylie > irene = anne

Im going to see if I can extract all the models manually, enable wireframes, and then line them up for a better comparison. I also want to compare the model heights to the canon heights of the girls so I can mathematically calculate the size of each girls tits to account for any discrepancies in the in game model vs canon stats

Everyone talks about how finding out the truth of the "disaster" will affect Albus, and how he'll turn against Valhalla because of it. Fine, but I think the more interesting story is how he'll react to how complicit Lily is, and the more more interesting story is how he'll react to his dad being alive. Though maybe he knows? He only looks for his mother's grave.

It's Giselle, though everyone except Irene is at least average and probably a little smarter than that.
Genius: Kylie, Giselle
Scholarship material if circumstances were different: Ray, Leton, Heixing*, Misty, Albus
Just a smidgen below the second tier: Sion, Alisa
Seems average: Bianca
Seems average, but she's in middle school so it's hard to tell: Anne**
Dumb, but it's okay since she's cute: Irene.
*I think Heixing gets a little more credit for smarts than he deserves just because he likes reading. I mean, he's clearly not dumb, look where I put him, but I think his bookishness is supposed to imply introversion more than great intelligence.
**Anne doesn't really show any signs of great book smarts (though once again, she's in middle school) but her drive, self discipline, and overall maturity level speak well of her cognitive makeup.
>>
>>1924904
Bianca is hard to gauge. She's a noble scion so she probably had top-tier private education, but she doesn't really do anything ingame that shows off her intelligence (or lack of it). She's a stubbord tsundere oyousama who sometimes lacks common sense, but that's not really an intelligence thing as much as a character archetype thing.

I never played around much with BW Alisa since the idea of a build that relies on Rage type states didn't resonate with me, but it might be a good idea to give her a try.
Ben jobbed 9/10 times I met him, but the one time he triggered Heart of Lunacy (and Ray wasn't there to immediately BTFO him lul) he actually put up a decent fight.
>>

BW Alisa is so OP its astounding. Funny yet is that everything WK alisa wants to do BW does better. Berserker playstyles just have 10x more support and insane mastery sets

The big thing to make her work properly is a set based on Encourage that turns its Bravery effect into Rage. Then you just use that every few turns. The crafted Barbarian item set is really good too for its 3-piece bonus that makes responsive attacks never miss.

Grim. I really wish she would've been an Earth SP user. You could probably negate her terrible defense with the extra Block somewhat.
>>1925372
I've noticed that her Vigor turns into Rage through some mastery set - does it work like beast-rage in that she has to build it up herself and it'll get reduced through inaction, or is it just a recoloring of the default Vigor stat?
>>
>>1925397
It works like beast rage but Encourage (with the set) is free and instantly fills it up

I think I found a decentish setup for her
the idea is you sliding or flex shaving a group of enemies. This taunts them and triggers forced duel alongside weaponbreak. Enemies will then run at her and get cut down by sen no sen and her counters.

To solve the block/damage issue I have all out defensive stance + tactical sense which is +35% block or around 110% total block but that could easily go higher with better affixes. Weapon break chunks 25% of enemy damage, combined with weapon return+forced duel is another 48% damage mitigation, and because I'm running Roar of Victory I can easily get a flat 50% damage reduction with overflowing spirit.

Because we have sen no sen and retaliation, and our main damage is responsive attacks, I included undefeated for AT reduction and carry all before for extra stats and it builds up fast.

From all her miscellaneous masteries and sets she easily gets up to a 180 speed and combined with AT reduction effects it offsets Alisa being slow as shit.

I tried to fit in undefeated for even more AT reduction and overwhelm which is super good on her but she just doesnt have the slots for it.
>>
>>1925397
rage is just better vigor because she gets an ability that gives her max rage for 1 AP

No, he doesn't use ESP. You can rape him with MA's Posture Breakdown though. If you somehow get Leton to use Twister you can potentially put all his attacks at 7 turns cooldown if he crits all 7 times.

Whats better for Giselle? Sniper or hunter? I've had great success using a landmine based hunter, especially working along side the Garden Crab for aoi entanglements every reaction shot they take.
While the damage isnt as high as if she was a sniper, she is one of my best at slaying groups of enemies or catching and debuffing bosses.

Is there anyway to make Giselle and Kylie friends? I know some characters can get permanent friendship buffs depending on some mission choices.

Unless you want to use legendary beasts, there's no reason to ever use Hunter over Sniper since it's one of the most egregious cases of class mogging.
Hunter gets access to improved traps, Camouflage (which is worse bootleg 'Hide'), and Beast buffs, but nothing much in the way of damage output. And since traps and Pincer Attack with Beast are two of its best mechanics, you'll need to keep Giselle somewhat close to the front lines.
Sniper can one-shot enemies across half the map and plunge surrounding units into AT hell and Confusion by doing so, has access to improved Part Sniping, and never misses a hit.
>>
>>1927123
I would argue that the access to legendary beasts is a legitimate part of the Hunter class and should be counted as a plus. Which gives Hunter way more utility and options to work with.
>>
>>1927123
Camouflage is not worse Hide. Unlike Hide it has no cooldown and Giselle's massive range means she can sit outside enemy sight and take shot after shot.
>>
>>1927123
>nothing much in the way of damage output
>traps and Pincer Attack with Beast
Being able to get free attacks off traps and beasts isn't damage output?
>>
>>1927142
That's why I brought them up, but legendary beasts aret their own thing and don't contribute to individual Giselle's capabilities.
If they get separated mid-battle, it won't help her at all. And I'd argue that most legendary beasts aren't that much better than their non-legendary counterparts either.
>>1927144
Camouflage is dispelled as soon as Giselle moves out of Cover or loses the high ground. I've found it hard to get much use out of it in most city maps and those with less cover in general.
>>1927154
Hunter Giselle can get free attacks through Fire Support, too, except that her damage output is much higher.
>>
>>1927160
>Camouflage is dispelled as soon as Giselle moves out of Cover
So? If you're keeping outside of enemy sight and end your turn next to a wall she just cloaks back up
> I've found it hard to get much use out of it in most city maps and those with less cover in general.
Then you're doing something wrong. City maps are the easiest ones to use it on because the buildings provide high cover everywhere and break up enemy line of sight. You don't have to actually be covering from enemies for camouflage to activate, you just need to have the blue symbol next to her name.
>>
>>1927079
playing hunter is fun but sniper is infinitely better. Pets being unable to go up and down ladder made me realize this fact
>>
>>1927123
I think I rather use Hunter, since you can freeze anything with ice grenades (like destrons)

Does Carter's super regenerative anilities make him the strongest fire man?
>>
>>1928926
Anne is a prodigy, so she might have the potential to become one of the greats down the line. Especially with all the practice she gets.
>>
>>1928926
Carter gets told in one of his talks with Edward that his regenerative powers are strong but not unique: one of Edward's guards can do it too.
I think canonically the strongest ESP user in the world is the Ater Empire's emperor Valerius. The Ater Empire's hierarchy in general is based on the strength of their ESP where every noble is an ESP user.
>It's a two-class society that is divided as ESP using nobles and normal citizens. The noble is divided into 5 groups according to the number of ESP users and the power. The 5 groups are knight, viscount, baron, count, and marquis. The difference in the power between the noble and normal citizen is absolutely significant; however, the mobility between the classes is highly flexible. Nobles are degraded to normal citizens if no ESP users are born throughout three generations. On the other hand, normal citizens can join to be a knight or selected as an apprentice of the emperor's army if they have can use ESP power. When the citizen is officially appointed after spending some time as an apprentice, the citizen becomes a noble. 10% of the population became a noble through this process.
>With the emperor's knight at the center of the power, each landlord has its own knight. All knights are ESP users and they use ESP based weapons. They are classified and utilized as magic troops by the nation. The power of the nation was the strongest among other nations with this group of knights but many knights were lost during the world war so the power is not like the past days.

The trick to doing the first one properly is to rush the jammers. Even with bad jammer placement RNG it's still pretty easy to kill them without engaging too many units, especially if you have Turning Over A New Leaf + the wind dash skill on Albus
>>
>>1931108
I love her as a unit, indirect AoE hits that dispel and lead to AT hell paired with fast scouting/mobility. But the design is bland and her story is the weakest one.
>>
>>1931140
I had Albus rush past the enemy lines to destroy jammers, sure he dies. But the boys in blue can easily mop up the last few jammers that are in more accessible places for a easy win.
>>
>>1931145
>>1931153
Wait, I though we were talking about a different mission. The one were you control Giselle and Ray and you need to defeat your entire team.
>>
>>1931256
That one i beat by having a hunter Giselle positioned up high throwing out upgraded traps where i expected the enemies to come from, combined with the Flower Crab, to get free AOI attacks and entaglements whenever she hit an enemy with a reaction shot she got from her traps getting triggered. Meanwhile i had alchemist Ray on healing duty, until she build up enough unstable stacks that she could nuke the enemy. I mainly used the cops to hold off the enemy and to focus eliminate the hurt and weakened survivors from the traps.
I managed to win on my first try with no losses, but i admittedly got really lucky with my shock trap confusing Heixing and Irene and they wrecked some havoc on their own.

someone please tell me a retard proof way to tame the crabs because their double hit attack can kill giselle through starlight barrier
>>
>>1931304
You don't get access to crabs when doing that mission. Since crabs are part of the first dlc.
>>
>>1931256
That's the one I cheese with camouflage. You can hide down in the grass for the entire duration and they won't find you.
>>1931392
The cheesy way is to start the tame, then use Starlight Prison on the crab. It's important to do it in that order.
The proper way to tame is to damage the crab until its HP is low, then check if its action time is higher than the time to tame. Taming time is based on enemy HP remaining and level difference. If you get it really low you can bring it down to 0AT.
>>
>>1931427
>The cheesy way is to start the tame, then use Starlight Prison on the crab. It's important to do it in that order.
oh wtf I thought that wouldve stopped the tame lol. Guess I'll try that then
>>1931256
iirc I beat that one by having the cops clog up the staircase while giselle and ray bombard them. If you take out heixing first with your superior range those two can easily mop up the remaining teamates
>>
>>1931414
I went back and did it with the crabs. The first attempt was a lot less clean and i used one of the dogs.
>>

Just make sure you dont have a damaging debuff like bleed on the crab, since that will break the taming even while being in the starlight prison.

>>
Kylie likes fatty tuna. That automatically makes her best girl.
>>
kylie's playstyle is lame and gay thus I dont care for her
>>
Who is the better unit Kylie or Giselle?
Kylie can field two drones and have some decent support, plus her AOI super move can wreck a lot of shit.
Giselle however has a lot more variety with her pets and can either do great single target damage with her sniper class, or really solid AOI with her traps.
Personally i lean more towards hunter Giselle being the better pick,
>>
>>1932204
Beast are stupidly OP and Giselle can solo cheese anything in the game.
>>
>>1932204
Both of them can break the game over their knees. I think Kylie is stronger when played at max autism but Giselle is easier to make strong.
>>
>>1932204
On their own, they both have the ability to get extremely powerful, but Giselle is more focused on long range single-target damage and control, while Kylie is more focused on short-medium range damage and support. Personally I prefer Kylie because sniper gameplay is always a bit dull in games like this and Kylie's support options are god-tier if used well, but there's a good case to be made that Giselle's unmatched range and ability to pick off enemies before they even get to act makes her the superior squad member.

As for their pets, drones require a lot more work to get OP than animals and you likely won't reach their full potential before you get to postgame grinding, while animals mostly use the same resources as your human squadmates to get strong. So unless you go full autism, drones will be significantly less strong than animals for basically the entire game. Drones can eventually get stupid strong with some effort, but you've gotta ask how good it is to get something really strong after you've already beaten the game, especially considering that beasts are basically OP from the moment you get your first well-built Tima and it only gets sillier with the stronger animal types. So I'd give the edge to Giselle overall.

I think the big thing that puts Giselle behind in my mind is lack of natural multi-hit attacks. Engineer Kylie's attack protocol eats Destrons for breakfast, even high tier ones. Giselle needs to spend a crab's overcharge for a similar effect.

>Aurora’s outfit in Banished Children:

>In the remote Kalter Mountains, Aurora cherishes secondhand clothes Gravis brought from Valhalla. Among her favorites are a "Hero Irene" fan club merch T-shirt she loves, a DINGs vest for mobility, and a cozy VHPD winter jacket.

I don't have shitter.
I'm glad she looks a lot less generic now compared to when she was first revealed. Some of those designs in the bottom right look really good.
>>
>>1932245
I hope Irene is being fairly compensated for the use of her intellectual property.
>>
>>1932245
HOT!
So she is like a irene wannabe? Or she worships her? God i can't be more interested in a character.
>>
>>1932271
Im sure Irene is fairly compensating the red panda brand.
>>

Long coat over shorts is pure sexo. I hope for future costume dlc.

Is she into irene? I mean sexually.
>>
>>1932377
Her entire internal monologue is just Hero by Enrique Iglesias, on repeat.
>>
>>1932245
>there are more irene tardlets running around
We need to put irene down before the global iq plummets and all women are born retarded
>>
>>1932424
I would put irene down in my bed
>>
>>1932426
All the irenefags line up against the wall this is for the good of vallhalla

Silence heaten.

I disagree. I think we should instead learn from Irene, and try to push every autistic youth towards heroism, in the hope it becomes their hyper fixation too.
>>
>>1932437
I would name my Troubleshooter team the Special Forces.

Objectively speaking, Giselle is the worst. A general cunt to everyone, Albus only kept up with her by near miracle and had no problems in leaving. And what does she do? Get mad at it all. And even after saving him literally and through her mentorship after the formation of the company, she would rather stay away.

Ray might not be as interesting as the others, but she's a good girl. Her biggest fault is just her immaturity.
>>
>>1932569
Ray wanted to be a normalfag. But his boy friends ended up beng a terrorist, a cia agent and a zombie.
>>
>>1932569
giselle honestly didnt deserve albus
hell albus doesnt deserve the majority of shit he had to deal with like that fat fuck at the beginning
>>
>>1932570
Not to mention poor.

And yes, between a literal terrorist and cult leader, a glowie with his magic being also a terminal disease and a man that got some weird deal to enchance his body living in literal borrowed time, she has it hard.
>>1932573
>giselle honestly didnt deserve albus
Well for all we know Jane is her only friend
>hell albus doesnt deserve the majority of shit he had to deal with like that fat fuck at the beginning
He had it rough, but at least he didn't lose his temper. Cannot have been bad as his internship with Black pearl.

Giselle is Albus' BAD END #2 (someone consumed by his job as a bounty hunter)
Of course, his BAD END #1 is to became a villain after discovered the truth about the attack were his parents died.
