I can just feel how this is ai generated
>>1925878i just skip through every event anyway. im here to command armies not read a novel.
>>1925880I'm the other way around. I cheat to win all wars but stop to read every bit of loc.
>>1925878aint nobody got time to read all that
>>1925878ChatGPT, write me a one sentence summary of all this text
>>1925878Probably not AI, ChatGPT overuses "reminder of" and "beacon of" when writing narratives of almost any kind.
>>1925923Its perchance ai, specifically the story generator
>>1925878Sad if trueAI does not belong in hobbies. You do it because you have a passion for it. If you don't have the passion for a wall of text, do not write a wall of text. No one wants to read that. I'd rather you just put two sentences in or something or skip it altogether.
>>1925938This is exactly the place for AI. This isn't someone's job, it's a fucking hobby, and so many HoI4 players want, if not require blurbs of text, focus text, fancy decision text, big blocks of text everywhere. If it's easier for someone to just gen a few things for the mod, while getting the mechanics right, that's perfect. One of the complaints people had in TFR was missing text on things, this gets it done, and we get to play something instead of looking at endless teasers and leaks.
>>1926140>dude just let ai do your hobbies for you while you use 120% of your brain capacity on stacking cans on top of eachother at your braindead minimum wage job
>>1926140why would you let ai do your hobby? if you enjoy writing, doing art and etc why would you let ai do it?
>>1926152I suppose you support modders via patreon on other means? Most people don't. >>1926160Not everyone is good at all aspects of a hobby. Let's be real here, some of the biggest entrance barriers to tabletop in the past was painting. If you can do 2 out of 3 and ai can help with the third, why not use that instead of relying on a bunch of discord trannies or whoever.
>>1925878>an entire generation so brainroted by internet they can't tell a difference between a (likely) ESL writing and AI The future is truly grim
>>1925878AI or (based) ESLs being ESL?>>1925938>>1926160>t. tno devyeah if only hoi4tards didn't a visual novel instead of a gsg, hoi4 would have been actually good
>>1926215huh? what you yapping about you ESL boy
Just tried my first HOI4 game as soviet unionSpent 5 years clicking focus buttons and building factoriesthen got completely bulldozed by Axis in secondsHow do I git gud?Would it be better to play a different country to start with?I had like fuck all units, though they were better quality then the axis ones.
>>1926518Might be easier to start off as Germany to get a handle on things. You're strong enough that even when you're learning, you can still make mistakes and pull through well. I think the tutorial starts you off as Italy, which also isn't a terrible choice since you get some early action with Ethiopia, and you can join up with Germany to have them do the heavy lifting when WW2 kicks off.You can try the later start date if you don't want to mess around with the pre-war build-up phase, though what kind of situation you'll inherit differs a lot based on which country you're picking. As for things like unit composition and all that, you'd probably want to check a recently made guide, I have no clue what the current metas are.
>>1925878As someone who spends most of his day dealing with generative AI output, I don't think this is written by AI. Or even if it was, it was then heavily sanitized by a human
>>1925880>>1925886both wrongi dont read the events and i cheat to autowin every wari'm here to read the green modifiers on my national spirits
>>1926518Soviets are hard because they are hamstrung by decision blocks and the most popular and coddled nation is 100% coming for you due to their decision tree so you're on the clock.
>>1926518I know this is a week old but first put all production into rifles, trucks, fighters, and AA. Build at least two army groups of infantry and set them to defend along the Vistula/Bug/Dnieper rivers while your fighters and AA chew up the Luftwaffe. It's important to keep your infantry deployed without moving them so they build up entrenchment bonus. I usually manually micro this phase to prevent AI reshuffling. Once you have defeated the German's airforce you will then build artilly and tanks and push the offensive. No point in using tanks without air superiority they will get killed immediately.
>>1925878if you want to read play tno
>>1932472Odds on how long till tno has AI blurbs?
>>1926140Bad news, buddy. Nobody literate enough to want a wall of text wants to read AI slop. It's not good prose, it's not interesting prose, and everyone can always tell its just AI slop. Its only passable to pajeets that can barely read I'm the first place.
>>1932566>Phone Poster>Prose>HoI4lol, lmao. Bro, just don't release the mod until I, an English Major and Professional Writer can finish up the event text for you. It's important for the narrative about how Joe Biden can be resurrected and integrated into the machine spirit!
>>1932480Never, current lefties never forgive plus their wholes careers are based around it.
