>>2386830Is the SA getting integrated into the german military in RA or do they remain separate?
>>2386878The SA become the 1970s equivalent of the Navy SEALs for Germany, that's what picrel is about. "Special Forces" are a step above Elite Infantry with higher stats, but you acn only get the division template for them through focuses, events, and so on. The three superpowers will have a maximum of 3 SF divisions they can have at any one time, if you've played TFR Russia you'll know the mechanic I'm talking about. Each superpower's special forces will be specialized to a certain degree with somewhat differing stats, for example the Navy SEALs will have higher soft attack but less hard attack, and the same is true for the SA, though the other superpowers won't get their SF until they get their respective 70s content.
>>2386885Not where I expected the SA to end up but that's a cool idea.

>>2386896I'll be honest I had a hard time keeping track of what was what when there were so many leaks dropping at once and people making contradicting claims on several. I think the confusion on the Italian content on my part comes from the back and forth of partial and differing leaks over the past few weeks.
Apparently the guy that got purged and lead to the recent leaks was someone named Peter who deleted his account. Anyone heard about him before, was he a known lolcow or involved in prior drama?
>>2386913I don't think anyone named Peter has been talked about here before. TNO being the way it is though it's not unheard of that completely normal people do heel turns and become real alogs because of how the leads treat their staff.
>>2386913Peter was a gendisc regular turned tester and then contributor for both tno and tfo He apparently left the team and all tno spaces for unspecified reasonsOne of the moments of all time with him was him drunk texting while on the swings in #off topic

>>2387679nayrt but I'd definitely care about shit getting leaked because of what it says about the team.
These leaks are just really sad.All skeleton shit. No direction.>Playing extremely minor nations is unpopular with 90% of players so lets make the mod all about tiny nation states that dont matter in the grand schemeIts especially sad knowing that the "leaks" have essentially 0 real script/code/writing behind them in their current state. If they did, it would just be released already.Only story skeletons leaked, not even the full story, not even a mf visual.Pathetic.
>>2387551wait, is there just going to be no way to get Iran out of Germany's sphere anymore? So incredibly stupid, at least this will never come out.
>>2387712>Playing extremely minor nations is unpopular with 90% of playersThat's just wrong though. People love that. Minor nations in mods like RF, KR, EaW, OWB and many, many more often end up becoming fan favorites. Sure everyone isn't going to play and like them, but everyone usually have a minor to mid-tier tag that they really enjoy. That's also where a lot of the backlash against the railroading comes from. It's fun to beat the odds as an underdog or be the small cog in a machine that saves the war effort. Heck starting out as a minor warlord is what makes Russia so beloved to a lot of people! Not saying you're wrong but I really do feel like you're right that this is their philosophy and it's just terrible.
>>2387712Also there is no vision. Like none of these skeletons have any cohesion with each other or the story as it stands. Its not necessary to make most of this shit because its tangent to the timeline.I see the "devs" aka novel writers are taking some of the memes to heart like the failstate meme and they are trying to provide the bigger nations with multiple paths. But this "un-railroading" is at a great cost to the overarching experience. It is a game after all, and since there is literally nothing happening outside of majorly scripted sequences, it falls short of being playable. If some of the skeletonned events were in the game already, then the player would have several real gameplay events to look forward to instead of novelslop and scriptslop. The mod is rotten and it isn't getting fixed by some modding hobbyist's part time work on a specific nation out of the 200 nations there are on the map and 1000 possible paths there are for each individual nation. Its bloating at terminal fucking velocity.
>>2387713Technically there's the CW but that's in TNO 2 sooo... Nope. Everyone having a stake in the future of Iran is gone.
>>2387714Minor nations are cool when and only if you are allowed to do something with them.Minor nations that are beloved are only beloved for their focus trees and mechanics.Since there are no paths forward for most minor nations in TNO, one would assume most of the work was put into the majors which is only true for some of them and even then not to the fullest extent they could have.So as a fringe benefit of an unfinished mod and update hype cycles, minors are only worked on as a way to avoid problems with the major countries in TNO, which has led to feature creep and bloat. If the game as a whole were more finished, more cohesive, then minor development wouldnt be a problem.
>>2387718There are actually some relatively minor nations in the mod with focus trees, actual stakes and decent fanbases: South Africa and the Schild states. All can either live or die in an epic clash between the SS and a flawed democracy. They're not perfect, but they were good enough to earn the mod a lot of hype all the way back in Don't Surf. They're all being deleted and replaced with skeletons roflmao
>>2387551Slightly less shitty than before. Pmo that 99% of paths are just generic nationalist takes over country. Im glad they added some alternatives to that but in almost every game they are gonna stay pakt aligned.
>Kateryna's now reading the thread and stealing our ideas to fix his shitty reworks no one asked forA new low.
>>2387589>>2387655>rarest leaks
>>2387763Civil war in TNO2 (never happening)I'm assuming it would be the Islamic Revolution considering TNO2 is the seventies.
>>2387551It's such a nudev-ism to have pre-determined outcomes for wars in your own fucking charts. They're so afraid of ever introducing even a hint of gameplay that they can't even allow the skeleton to have an actual conflict play out organically even in the future plans that they know will never reach fruition anyway.
TNO:RA toozer
2nd image
>>2387858TNO:RA Middle Eastern content as GoodWinSon stated will involve a big war between Italy, Turkey, Arabs, and I think Iberia during the 70's. Turkey will hopefully have a minigame to sway them to either the Pakt, CPS, or OFN in the future.
>>2387869>One lone autist single handedly destroys TNO by just allowing gameplay and chance to exist in a gameAnother brutal TNO dev L.
>>2387870 (me)Wait I just realized that this meme from a few years ago is no longer satire HAHAHAHA
So I checked the germany flowchart and for the speer successors, It seems that they are almost all universally in their mid 30s- to 40s which is pretty young all things consideredWe haven’t gotten the leader for the reformist partocrats but my theory is peter glotz as he is the most reactionary out of the reformists in the borman path as his subid is revolutionary conservatism. Funnily enough he is also the youngest among the speer successors as pape is almost 50, Biedenkopf is 44 and glotz is by far the youngest at 35He could theoretically remain fuhrer until the 2000s since that’s when he died otl
>>2388130it says that wolters will become deputy fuhrer after the oil crisis but i don’t think speer would pick him as a successor. He’s almost as old as speer is and he dies 2 years after speer so if your resigning the fuhrer ship due to old age, it’s pretty retarded to choose a new führer the same age as you
>>2388130does the Speer flowchart show successors? or do you mean jordan, kehrl etc.?
>>2388189yes but those guys get replaced as the game goes on. kehrl gets replaced by biedenkopf but we don’t know who replaces jordan which is why I assumed it would be Glotz. Kehrl and Jordan are already pretty old so new blood naturally takes their place. Plus it doesn’t make sense for speer to retire in 1974 due to old age and then appoint a successor that is older than him. Kehrl is 5 years older and jordan is 3 years older. Considering it’s a lifetime position, it’s not really a good decision to pick someone on the older side unless your bormann, then you pick kopfler because gerontocracy is seemingly his preferred method of government
>>2388198Speer doesnt retire due to old age, he keeps going until the RGW is over
Relax it's all getting reworked anyway so none of the things you're speculating on even matter.
>>2388202Rgw? it says in the flowchart that 1973-1974 is an interregnum which means that speer gets replaced in that period. the 2wrw happens in 1978
>>2388207How does he appoint a vice-chancellor after then? The 2wrw happens in 76 so I think its meant to end in 78 as the flowchart says. This one might be less accurate but it implies that speer still rules after the Interregnum
>>2388213This is so ass.>5 years later and they've still barely figured out entire branchesImagine throwing away this much time on a mod with nothing to show for it.
>>2388222This is really old, only using this to prove that speer does remain in the speer path. Otherwise the general flowchart is right
>>2388225That just means that the rework got reworked again.
>>2388213That’s the older chart, also interregnum literally means in between two rulers in latin. I’m assuming wolters will be the vice chancellor for the new fuhrer so speer can insure his vision is secure after he retires speer doesn’t die until 1983 so i’m assuming speer will have a nice retirement building cities in the germanized parts of eastern europe
>>2388230Why would they change that in specific though? And why would the chart not show it until after the 2wrw? It feels pretty dumb that speer after achieving his utopia resigns and lets someone not 100% aligned with his views take over
>>2388245I mean even retired he still has massive influence over the party. his appointed vice chancellor is there to keep the new fuhrer in line, and his health is already declining due to the stress of the oil crisis. At that point you might as well retire and ensure an orderly transition of power instead of dying in office with no direct successor like hitler did. Plus after the kampfzeit, A peaceful transition of power would be much appreciated by the public
This is his latest post oil-crisis success tree (unless a more recent one was made)
Why are these niggas even pretending that any of this let alone a 2wrw in the late 70s will ever happen
If I could have one planned path miraculously finish coding and testing tomorrow it would be the Kehrl path. I NEED technocratic nazi kino.
>>2387551Ok this is horrible. I made a quick and dirty proposal for them a while ago and even that was better that this piece of shit.
>>2388573Make a proposal for Red Italy
>>2388573It's actually worse but ok
>>2388583Yeah, not enough Mohammad Reza Pakhlavi under different subids, my bad.
>Natsoc Samara unifies West Russia>Amur unifies SiberiaOh yeah it's "Omsk are the good guys" time
Man, I'm worried about the TNO Rises Again folks at Kiwi Farms because the site creator is literally dumb enough to have a war with Anime community leading to him being exposed as pedophile and might get FBI involved
>>2388624>Oh yeah it's "Omsk are the good guys" timeSo a day ending in Y?
>>2388573It's not too bad if it's a first draft. For a player, it's a big upgrade since all superpowers have a stake in it. Needs more work but at least there's a reason to care since the outcomes aren't just cosmetic in 99.99% of cases. But you probably played the game whereas Kateryna typically just wants to write about politics.>>2388630Sounds like bullshit. Even if the site was removed then the devs - all 2 of them, none of whom are Null - could just keep going and set up their own forum.
I might start making my own submod just to finish Britain because I want to see Powell
>>2388573This blows lol
>>2388751Sure beats having over a dozen identical outcomes.
>>2388573Iran starting with Mossadegh and under Japan kinda sucks, but other than that it's alright I guess.Iran should for sure start in Germany's sphere imho
>>2388761Agreed but that might've been done to balance out against Pakistan being pro-German or something.
>>2388761Why not? It provides a realistic starting situation different from OTL
>>2388784Because "Mossadegh tries to nationalize oil fields" is literally just OTLIt also isnt very realistic, because Mossadegh was INSANELY hated across Iran for being one of the worst possible politicians. People liked him wanting to nationalize the oil fields, but hated him on every other topic.
>>2388761Shouldn't it start in Italy's sphere.
>>2388758You literally only think they're identical because Iran is a monarchy so has the same head of state in most paths.Iran starting as a pro-japan republic is retarded lore, and your outcomes aren't any less identical just because the leader portrait will be different after Mosaddegh dies. Iran should be pro-German, Zahedi doing his thing is far more interesting lore than boring OTLism with soviet-british invasion happening and Mosaddegh nationalising oil.
>>2388786>Bitches about something being otl >Says that otl is unrealistic >Had Iran be an autocratic imperial puppet state of a foreign power instead
>>2388803All outcomes involve the Pakt ruling the place so yes it's all the same for me as a player because nothing you people make will be playable and none of these swaps matter for anything other than flavor at best.
>>2386795I was in EaW when they killed the partnership. Mango was outright asked whether QPQ was speaking for the mod or notIt was not a moron going rogue. It was calculated from the start.Ask me anything about the seven days in the summer.
>>2388825Anon in the last thread didn't say that QPQ went rogue but that he and Mango ignored the community lead and told him to eat shit. So it's just the leads running roughshot over their own team.>ama1. Is it true that they just wanted one of your devs to get removed from the team over old drama?2. What was the dialogue between the mods like? Did they try to be diplomatic or did they just make demands?3. How did the process of cutting ties come about? Was it quick or did they really have to push your buttons to get it to happen?4. Were there more consequences for either mod than just severing ties?5. Were there any internal consequences for this over at TNO that you're aware of, or did they just skate by because it's a dictatorship?6. Is disliking TNO just a leadership thing over at EaW or did this issue affect the playerbase too?
>>23888351. We got that impression from their behaviour, totally.2. Diplomatic, coldly so and with QPQ carrying a smug aura of misplaced superiority. Demands were implied, never explicit3. It was covered last summer but they were told to drop their demands or the partnership was dead. EaW leadership was behind it every step if the way4. No5. None that I know of.6. Latter. It is a realism pitted against gameplay chasm
>>2388786But he does succeed, thats the difference. Also, he was so hated across Iran that US had to literally bribe protesters to go to the streets and the only reason why he lost was the fact that he allowed his supporters to demobilize during the most critical hours. >>2388804Nah I'm not saying OTL is unrealistic, I'm saying its unrealistic for Mossadegh to hang on for over a decade. And yes, its better for Iran to be in the German Sphere, because Iran was already friendly to Germany overall and had built up very friendly relations over the past half a century.Meanwhile with Japan there is practically zilch history in comparison.
>>2388928>The CIA finding useful idiots willing to betray their country proves me rightI also notice that there's been literally not a single argument for why having 14 mechanically identical outcomes is better than Iran being up for grabs by the superpower.>But in TNO 2...Shut the fuck up not even the devniggers believe it's ever releasing.

Germany gets a steady proxy for its influence in the middle-east to counter the italians and keep the americans out. Not every country should be a politically and narratively empty football to be kicked around in a three-sided superpower conflict.
>>2388949Imagine if you wanted a country to have agency but it just became a soulless puppet of what ever superpower
>>2388990>>2388994Why even bother if it has zero utility in the game? >>2389426>He was surely less retarded then the Shah himselfWhat did Shah even do which makes you so pissy? He redistributed land from landlords to 2.5 million peasants. He also improved the education and increased the total number of Iranian students from 1.5 million in 1958 to more than 10 million in 1978. When Mossadegh was in power, Iran’s budget was around $400 million. Shah's last budget was $57 billion. In 1963 per capita income was $174, in 1978 it was $2,540Mossadegh was a regular turd world socialist dictator who nationalized the oil but didn't sell it to anyone and used economic collapse he himself caused to give himself dictatorial powers for half a year and when the deadline came he started extending it indefinitely which alienated a lot of people. The reason CIA even got involved is because they believed he would collapse the country and it would lead to a communist revolution or he would sell out to soviets. With USSR gone and communism being discredited he would lose his major backer which allowed him to maintain power.

His White Revolution (acccording to Maddison Project) has tripled gdp per capita from 3800 in 1963 to 10200 in 1977 (it fell down to 8700 in 1978 so im doing you a favor there). But guess who has managed to do the same? His sandnigger relatives in Saudi Arabia. So i tend to attribute the economic changes solely to the oil prices and not to his policies.Mossadegh on the other hand was smart enough to not to declare himself communist to save his relationships with the clergy and tried to negotiate with both Britain and the US on terms of nationalization unlike his moronic socialist counterparts in Cuba, Guatemala, you name it.
Is DV integration coming with the newest update?
>>2389695No, it can't be. Because old Africa has key story content like the SAW DV can't be released until numerous tags are reworked to account for the second largest early game event being gone and those tags need to be reworked to account for the same thing.Daily reminder that this entire clusterfuck is the result of nepotism and that all TNO devs are fine with this sort of behavior.
>>2389687>He was a fucking retard who single-handedly destroyed his own countryBy increasing the GDP, building schools and hospitals, redistributing land and giving people rights? Yea that's le heckin evil bro, gimme a socialist turd worldist shitslamist dictatorship instead >he started the war on clergyThey literally rape donkeys and encourage pedophilia. Why is it a bad thing to go against it? >small business ownersProof? He redistributed land from nobles to 2.5 million peasants and his policies would generally contribute to the rise of small businesses since the country transferred from feudalism to modern capitalism. >he was insanely corruptHow can a king be corrupt when the country is literally his private property? This makes no sense >But guess who has managed to do the same? His sandnigger relatives in Saudi Arabia. So i tend to attribute the economic changes solely to the oil prices and not to his policies. No it's because both countries were absolute monarchies and not third world socialist shitholes. It's a pretty obvious pattern that middle eastern monarchies tend to be much better while socialists and islamists prefer to wallow in the puddle of their own shit. Somehow you make this comparison without realising that it destroys your whole argument since had Shah stayed in power Iran would be as rich as middle eastern monarchies if not more and that's bad because..?>international allies by making attemps to nationalize oil himselfNo he didn't. He negotiated a deal with Italians which made americans and british pissy but he didn't straight up nationalize anything.
>>2389687>Mossadegh on the other hand was smart enough to not to declare himself communist to save his relationships with the clergyThe reason why the clergy and nobles didn't hate him was because he didn't do as much reforms that would uproot the country from poverty unlike the Shah who started land redistribution and modernization. Also I don't see why it's a good thing if the nobles and clergy were obviously unhinged and supported policies which made people poor. >tried to negotiate with both Britain and the US on terms of nationalization unlike his moronic socialist counterparts in Cuba, GuatemalaThat's completely false. He refused to make any negotians which was the reason between the conflict with him and the Shah because Shah initially supported the nationalization but wanted to negotiate while Mossadegh wanted to do socialism and poverty. That's the reason while after a coup Shah made agreements with the west which is one of the reason he's hated. You got your narrative completely upside down.

In 1965 there seems to be a bug where if Dominican Republic invades Haiti the game crashes trying to do the peace conference.Anyone know a way to fix this or an Event ID or something to avoid this from happening?
>You cant even participate in the new proxies and have to set country rules to benefit you or else you're screwed Not looking good so fat but okay
>>2390599It's not confusing unless you're a retard who can't grasp a pie chart working in a slightly different way, and stability doesn't matter in TNO anyway. No clue why you people are focusing on this.
I literally have nothing in my life going on and I was looking forward to this as something possibly fun but turns out its just a mess filled with bugs that will take a month or so to iron out entirely...such a shame.
>>2390622don't quote me on this but iirc this means you support New Granada now when the civil war kicks off.
>>2390619Does anyone have the Event ID for when the Dominican Republic under trujilllo wins in Haiti and annexs it and forms Santo Domingo, every time i reload my save no matter what my game crashes once the "Calculating Peace Conference" comes up on my screen and it is forcing me to restart which I already had to do once.
>>2390639Another thing, Trujillo surviving is very important for Iberia to influence other proxy wars in LATAM and needs to exist for some proxies to be won by Iberia. Having this bug, something that is so important to the gameplay of Iberia is such an oversight that it almost seems intentional by the Devs. How is something like this not uncovered though testing? it just makes no sense. Clearly the devs dont even care and hate their own playerbase, if they want to release buggy shit like this and lie and be dishonest then maybe TNO should just roll over and die already. I was hopeful (copeful) that this update would be something brand new and something good from TNO for once but I realize now that I was just lying to myself and coping with the fact it has been over for years and I should expect these sorts of things from the Dev team.
>>2390639Not an event ID unfortunately, peacedeals are stored separately.>>2390645It's working for me.
I barley played this update, i don’t wanna see spanish names All damn day, If i wanted to do that I could just go to work I’m not playing a game we’re half the text is monkey speak
>>2390649Sure okay enjoy your barley mr. chud
>>2390630My bad I confused it with bolivia
>>2390653I mean im pretty open about it lol anyways about the update, I do like the new ethnicity map and its detail but I think instead of a key to describe percentages A pie chart would be more helpful I’m not to particularly interested in the proxy’s since it’s all latam and latin america has always been an irrelevant shithole Iberias content clearly had a lot of work put in so hats off but it’s honestly not as exciting or dynamic as guandong or the new germany all in all it’s better that what we’ve gotten so far so it’s ok in my books. I’m eagerly waiting for dv because I can earn glory for the european race in campaigns of TND and TAD
>>2390648What keeps happening with me is Haiti will be in Civil War with the Communists and then Trujillo invades and once the peace conference happens it crashes. For you is Haiti in Civil War?
>>2390682>Eagerly awaiting DVDevnigger or clinically retarded (but I repeat myself).
>>2390682>TND and TADbut that's already present if you play as Huttig
>A bunch of shitty US-centric proxies, touch up to five years old content and a bunch of useless GUIsIt's so fucking over.
yeah the content is mostly the same except for the (democratic) endingsinvested into colonial infrastructure on cooldown and still couldnt ever break even but now these shitty islands and jungles are paradise on earth, richer than any other part of our shitty country
>>2390717did you keep Morocco or Algeria?
Is falangism still a trap path or is there a way to avoid it?
>>2390703but hutig is a failstate, With him the colonial presence is bound to end. But with dv? oh it can last forever. Africa becoming a new lebensraum in a pan european crusade against the black race. Imagine it, South africa 50 percent white, algeria becoming pluarity pied noir as with rhodesia and kenya hosting sizable british minorities By the year 2100 if this settlement continued, There may be several beacons of high civilization on the dark continentImagine the luxury resorts and wildlife preserves, Train lines and highways, Walled segregated cities and homesteads. This can all happen with dv, but with hutig, You kill a couple chimps and the continent stays theirs. With dv you kill lots of chimps and the continent can stay ours, Forever and ever If you want to imagine the future with a DV integration, Imagine a Boot stamping on the face of the black man, Forever.
Don’t start a run unless you plan on finishing it immediately. I took a 6 hour break from my Francoist run and the proxy war section was bricked when I got back. Only got halfway through it but I would rate it like a 5/10 it’s so boring, barley anything has changed, there are times you go months without being able to take a focus, the events aren’t particularly interesting. Only positives are no overly complex GUIs. Hopefully dem Iberia or the Iberian wars factions are better than this. Jokes on me for thinking this could be a solid update.
>>2390761I want Falangism to be a great path. I really hope they didn't sleep on it yet again (or just make it generic fascism).Vanilla Falangists being able to core the entire Hispanic world from Patagonia to fucking Texas was just too good for tno I guess.
>>2390762You're off your fucking meds if you think they'll let anything of the sort happen.
The despotist path bored me but at least you can keep it together which I wanted for a long time
>>2390785Ntayrt but all but things point towards an end game with a lot of colonies still in place. I guess this does allows a timeline headcanon where they stay colonies or white settler states supported by the pakt to modern day
>>2390795>Yeah I know it'll be preachy bullshit but it can be real in my headHoly cope. Just disable the timer from Huttig's minigames to allow his empire to go on for all eternity and let your headcanon fill in all the blanks there then. You can get an experience superior to DV right now if you do that if all you care about is being able to fantasize about this regardless of what the game actually tells you.
anyone else finding the update boring as shit?
>>2390801It's just a facelift of an old tag that never was very good to begin with. They made it better in some ways but the update is dragged down in other ways. It's mid, sure, but it's also exactly what was advertised.
What do you even do in this situation? You can't attack it, you can't defend against it. I somehow encircled them and destroyed them 4 times and they just keep immediately reappearing
>>2390853>He tried to go against the intended timelineRookie mistake.>RespawnIt's a volunteer, right? They'll keep being sent to the tag's capital whenever they're free to send another division which unlike other mods and vanilla don't have any deployment delay. You might be able to pull off the encirclement trick if you can block them from spawning in enough VPs for you to win. Honestly the only way I can think of to let you cheese your way out of this glitchfest.

TNO:RA update, I have had all but two event writers ghost me for over 10+ days, one of them had to be reminded that needed to work on the mod, and the other has been pumping out events even if at a slower pace than usual. On top of that, my RA devbuild of the mod is now loading into vanilla for whatever reason when it worked fine previously.I have no mouth, and I must scream.
>>2391624This is why skilled labor from India is needed.
Alright, new plan. I'm dropping the events file here, I'm going to crowdsource writing from you anons. The events beyond 42 aren't done, so those are the ones you should do. >>2391781Do you have a link to it? I don't see it in this thread but I know it exists and I've seen it.
>>2391782No but it's honestly just a short one that's a few pages long and completely irrelevant now. Main path would be more like a NatSoc Caesar's Legion instead of German simps, Hyperborea would be relatively unscathed, and a third path existed that'd be a SS LARP aristocracy in Russia. Obviously today this is never, ever happening. The nudevs hate the AB. The main path is likely getting cut or at best left to rot. They already removed Hyperborea's ideology in preparation of cutting that and you're mad if you think anyone today would greenlight an unironic esoteric nazism ideology in Russia today. Shame since I remember it sounding fun but I guess we can't have nice things.
>>2391596Nowa Polska was cool, original, and also was plausible. I can see displaced Poles taking over a piece of the USSR after it violently fell apart. Then TNO just replaced it with the Kazakh SSR for some reason.
>>2391822I’m strangely sad about this. Seriously WHY did they remove that. It’s not even a narrative changing piece of content to keep included and like you said it’s incredibly unique and cool. Dude what the fuck is wrong with this development team. I’d take a cool polish enclave in the steppes of the former USSR over walls of texts about native and nigger slave cultures in latam everyday
and you can't except anything new in Russia in the near future
>>2391834>WhyIRL politics and OTLism to the point where the loss of both major wars in the timeline are just afterthoughts. After Pacifica left the new guy in charge started the plan to rework all of Russia with OTL Kazakhstan becoming the first leg of it before they started to work on reworking all unifiers none of which have materialized after three years. OTL borders, OTL Brezhnevite leader of Kazakhstan in charge, you name it. This was in the aftermath of the invasion of Ukraine which is also why le evil Russians oppressing the natives is a major theme. You can even see them ending the explanation for the OTLism mid-sentence because they just didn't care. They probably said to themselves that they were removing slop but ended up creating one of the worst cases of OTList slop instead.tl;dr Nowa Polska died because realism.>do you have moreNo sorry only the story page was leaked at the time but it paints a clear picture.
>>2391889It’s just so bizarre to think of their reasoning. It’s a contentless piece of land. I naively keep trying to give this team the benefit of doubt when it comes to developing and removing content but this is a really stupid thing to remove. It would hardly interfere with the Kazakh skeleton just give us New Poland back
When is Requiem dropping their next update? Considering the fucking subpar TMT is it's likely to blow TNO out of the water again.

>>2391913>is it worth itDSP drama has been milked dry as of several years ago. His streams and videos get hundreds of views most of the time and when detractors make content about him most of it's just remarking on something that has happened a thousand times before such as him begging for money in a retarded manner or being bad at a game in an entirely predictable way. Doesn't stop him from being one of the most enduring fixtures in lolcow circles despite the fact that most fans, detractors and a-logs have moved on. It's not going to be worth it to most people but it'll be worth it to enough people to keep the cottage industry of bullying the TNO leads going.>is nobody gonna say fucking anythingThe key thing about a lolcow is that they never ever take good advice. Anyone on the team that has tried to course correct has either been purged, left or is just hanging around in Doki for social reasons. Their reaction to the DV reveal is the most telling because the entire Internet told them that sucked: they went into bunker mode, banned tons of people, deleted thousands of comments and when people were done actively shitting on them they just continued like nothing ever happened. Typical lolcow behavior.
I dropped the Iberia run pretty early. It just felt like nothing. I have no goal other than making the line green by spending pp on minigames. The fall of Triumvirate erases all of progress in that department instantly and makes it even worse. Building screen feels pointless because you get what? 1% increases in admin efficiency for building one of those? There is no potential for any war or growth. I can't even send volunteers to Turkey or Italy. And it runs like absolute shit.
mid updateiberia is kinda ehiberian war trees are alright
>>2391927Can you post or at least describe the IW content? That's the one thing I'm actually interested in trying out.

>>2391913I hate watch TNO development like I hate watch iDubbz and DSP lmao it really is a lolcow mod at this point. Even if you read the reddit threads the dev team is just milked for jokes. The mighty have fallen. We miss you Panzer even if you are a troon
>>2391985it's ironic how despite all the tranny hate the mod only really started falling apart after the trannies left
>>2391992... And except for the tranny-janny, literally all the the lolcows are liberal dudes. It isn't even a commie thing like some people say because the things that were interesting were often made by commies like Pacifica. Being able to recognize this has really become what tells tourists apart from regulars when it comes to observing TNO drama.
>>2391929You get small focus trees with a few events (although base Junta doesn't seem to get any events), the mechanic to manage domestic unrest and military buffs, and some pop up events with mostly missing loc. Its kind of a wet fart.
>>2391943>>2392019HEY TNO:RA DEV, HOW DOES THIS COMPARE TO THE ASSETS YOU MADE FOR YOUR MOD, AND ARE THEY COMPARABLE TO THE LEAKED ASSETS?Sorry for the caps just want to make sure you notice this.

I am someone who has always been fascinated by TNO's ethnic map, as I think it's a really good way of representing the changes that happen in the world. In a TNO-derived mod I work on, I'm the guy who is responsible for working on the ethnic map. But regardless of all this, I am fricking mind-blown by the absolute bullshit TNO has done to the ethnic map mode as seen in the picture below. Yes I care abou thr ethnic map. NO, I DO NOT FRICKING CARE ABOUT THE 20+ MINORITIES LIVING IN THE STATE, MANY OF WHOM AMOUNT TO LESS THAN 0.1% OF ITS POPULATION. Is this what you spent the last 6 months on? Really???

>>2393110wrong thread anon. eu5?
Also new nudger icon.
>>2393501Meant to post this after this post, but whatever.>>2390762 Anon's idea of white settler states surviving, putting aside his barely disguised power fantasy, is quite interesting. I have some ideas of my own I'd like to give for GoodWinSon to implement concerning Africa, mainly concerning the white settler minorities. I was thinking that in the aftermath of a stage 1-2 Reichstaat collapse, Germany could support white settler minorities and get them in their economic sphere and as Einheitspakt observers.Outside of the Congo which can be directly taken over and reestablished as a colony, Rhodesia is an obvious pick, I'd like for it to be a proxy involving the Americans getting a choice between supporting Joshua Nkomo or Ian Smith, who can be changed to only be crippled and consigned to a wheelchair by his assassination attempt that happens early in the game, the Germans supporting Clifford Dupont, and the Japanese supporting Mugabe, whose ideology changes depending on how extensive Japanese support was (Ultranationalism, to social revolutionary, to social nationalism, to Pan-Africanism).
>>2393502 (cont.)Aside from Rhodesia, given how lightly populated it is, perhaps a German settler state in Namibia that joins the Pakt directly if the Boers are in the Pakt as well. Third is somewhere in East Africa, perhaps Kenya but that's under Italian rule, Tanzania is too centrally located, and Mozambique already has a proxy war. Perhaps modify the Mozambique proxy to have it the settlers aim for picrel.
>>2393502Barley disguised? Damn I thought I was being pretty blatant about my desire for TND. Either way, I personally don’t like the idea of the reichstatt because to me it’s just generic le nazis ebil grey blob empire number 3000. Propping up the old colonial empires and those empires gradually becoming like their master with settler colonialism and extermination plans in phases is way cooler to me personally. Plus when british or french content comes out it gives the player something to do with their army
>>2393504 (cont.)If Germany wins, there can be some small flavor events about Germans migrating to the colonies, and Anglos immigrating to Rhodesia if the UK is in the Pakt/independent under Thatcher. Given that content is now being extended to the early 80's, perhaps some silent changes to culture can happen over time to represent such a shift, i.e Salisbury becomes "Anglo-Shona".
>>2393511I don’t think smith would be a fascist but I trust your direction godwinson, You go king!
>>2393508You just have a bleaching fetish.
>>2393516Not GoodWinSon, but that Rhodesia screencap is a submod on the New Zealand Basket Weaving forum. Just replaces Clifford Dupont's portrait, name and loc with Ian Smith's, realistically he would be Revolutionary Nationalist given how radicalized he is by the Germans in the TNOTL, National Conservative IOTL. The reason he's Corporate Statist is because that's Cliff Dupont's ideology in base TNO and touching the characters file would introduce some incompatibility.
>>2393517Bleaching? Why would I want good blood breeding with monkeys? My intention is to create a segregated society where the negroes gradually die off due to lack of modern amenities, Not to make a race of neo latinos
>>2393520You're a retarded larper but you also like DV so no surprises that you're a dumbass autistic manchild. None of the things you want will actually be allowed to happen in the mod btw.
>>2393566The empires can be maintained so it’s theoretically possible. My thought process would be that this would be a long term thing, it’s not gonna be 2020 and kenya be majority white. At best if all goes well the colonies can be plurality white by 2050 and majority white by 2100It’s a lot easier for south africa to be majority white compared to kenya or rhodesia (even tho rhodesia is easier than kenya)
>>2393615>It's real in my headNigga just imagine a Reichsstaat where they get rid of all blacks and create Whitopia by 1980 then.
>>2393619I like my genocide timetables semi plausible thank you very much
>>2393615>The empires can be maintainedYou know it will only happen if the wholesome chunguses take over and let niggers run the colony for whitey
>>2393653Huttig and his successor killing all blacks by 1980 is more realistic than your larp empire surviving in the TNO world for a hundred years and both are equally canon since in game none of the fantasies you babble about will ever be allowed to happen.
>>2393665excluding the fact that the colonies can explicitly be maintained if you go fascist as britain, would you say that the east india company using local lords is wholesome chungus? To me if you have to obey a colonial viceroy and comply with settlement policies, That’s still an empire. The only difference is that the natives are the glorified tax collectors because it’s cheaper to deligate low level admin positions to natives. Speer does this in eastern europe, and still maintains germanic settlement programs, Does that make speer GPO wholesome or just pragmatic?
>>2393674Because britain and france maintaining their empires is just impossible, I mean sure, they beat the natives in the field 9 times out of ten and only abandoned the colonies after international pressure. But a giant mega state from congo to south africa where the population isn’t even 0.1 percent white is sure to exterminate half of the local populationGet real man, The reichstatt is gay, Having the nazis be eternal caricatures is gay and just bad writing. >>2393711It’s in the yippie leaks, The most recent ones. Yippie is coming out quite soon. The devs are lazy as shit sure but it’s closer than VNJ. Look just let me dream ok? Better than just setting up a battle plan as the us and just letting the war go on auto complete, The SAF has never been a challenge, easiest war i’ve ever played in a mod
>>2393250idk nobody talks about eu5 in the eu5 thread anyways. I'll just stay on topic here instead I think.>>2393722>Better than just setting up a battle plan as the us and just letting the war go on auto complete, The SAF has never been a challenge, easiest war i’ve ever played in a modI've never even met someone whose played as the americans in the SAF before lol I don't think the mod was originally intended to be played like that. The Don't Surf demo didn't even let you play as the majors, just the reichskommissariats and the south africans. Then iirc the german demo let you send volunteers after you won the civil war and it would be a hell slaughter because america was always in the lead and you had to turn it around asap but the americans still weren't playable in that, either. I don't think the SAF was ever intended to be interacted with by a player on america originally and it would probably be better served by a combined british and french command resistance.
>>2393756>I've never even met someone whose played as the americans in the SAF before lol I don't think the mod was originally intended to be played like thatAre you retarded? SAF is quintessential part of every USA playthrough. You had to get south africa to 90% cap rate to get the bad events as R-D and then win when you got the NPP president in charge which required mastery and a lot of luck since it was dependant on AI not pushing back the germans
>>2393706>Plausible >Germany winning WW2 strengthens the losing powers, Germany gets nothing, and they hold on to their colonies forever despite the nudevs telling you otherwise Yeah no victorious Germany pulling off a huge genocide is far more likely than your headcanon that isn't even supported by the dev team.>>2393722You're a fucking mark if you believe their release dates, they've missed literally every single one of them. Just look at the road map ffs.
>>2393777I'm saying that the african content was clearly not originally designed with a playable america in mind based solely on what was in the original demos.
>>2393798Because the demo was what out in a week or something because Panzer was retarded. America not being very active on behalf of its ally wasn't intentional it was a byproduct of the early demos being rushed to be released on a deadline set by an autistic man. Why do you need these things explained to you?
>>2393805>America not being very active on behalf of its allyThat's not what I said, they were very active on behalf of south africa. See where I said>and it would be a hell slaughter because america was always in the leadSAW was always very difficult by design and was heavily america sided up until at least toolbox theory, (And I haven't played since) in such a way that would indicate, based on the demo where america was unplayable and was just as involved, that the content wasn't originally designed for a player choosing to play america because the SAW would be completely trivial for america, seeing as players can micro much better than AI.>Why do you need these things explained to you?Stop trying to imply I'm retarded when you're having basic literacy issues.
>>2393813It's not a matter of literacy your point is just drivel. You're nuts if you think that America being playable for this timeline's Vietnam expy was an afterthought instead of something they failed to model for a rushed demo.
>>2393816So your point amounts to>But vietnam is really cool! How could they overlook playing a vietnam like situation as america?Whereas I'm pointing out balance both before and after the demo, which was identical for the german nations and south africa. The don't surf demo had exactly the same balance as the actual mod released later UNLESS you were playing as the united states, in which case the game is a complete sweep which you can battleplan, as another anon said quote>Better than just setting up a battle plan as the us and just letting the war go on auto complete, The SAF has never been a challenge, easiest war i’ve ever played in a mod
>>2393821My point is that this is how Panzer's development worked. Both Old World Blues and Don't Surf were undercooked, rushed demos. Similarly to Don't Surft having flaws, the South Urals tags have had almost zero work done since the demo. What you're doing is as insane as pointing to the sad state of Orenburg and trying to say that they were never meant to have a part in the Russian unification since their content and balance hadn't change to account for the fact that regional unification in Russia was invented after the demo was released. Meanwhile in reality Panzer was just a poor project manager and this explains a lot of the issues in the mod.
>>2393825>Both Old World Blues and Don't Surf were undercooked, rushed demos. Similarly to Don't Surf having flaws, the South Urals tags have had almost zero work done since the demo.Yet all of these examples have by far the best and most well thought out wars in TNO by a longshot.
>>2393830Yes the SAW is arguably the best war in the mod because the nudevs trashed all subsequent attempts to make any and the ones made since have been GUI infested messes. Their failures don't change the fact htat TNO's early development was ramshackle and troubled and that this explains a lot of their issues. TNO becoming even more dysfunctional with time due to the realism clique doesn't erase the problems that plagued the mod before they ruined everything.
>>2393833And despite that 'early, ramshackle' development it's still implausible to you that the mod could have been designed with the original intent for players to only ever play the nazis in the nazi victory mod?
>>2393836Yes and you're straight up insane if you think that they never intended for places like America, Russia, Italy and others to be playable, fuck off with that shit. You're just as utterly dumb and delusional as you'd expect from someone that shills for DV on white supremacist grounds to be.
What are the actual odds of Yippe! and DV coming out by the end of the year like the NuDevs have stated.I certainly would be surprised.
>>2393874ehhhh... 70% chance
>>2393869>You're just as utterly dumb and delusional as you'd expect from someone that shills for DV on white supremacist grounds to be.>This whole thread is one other person syndromeholy
>>23938741-5%.>>2393877Lethal overdoses of copium.
>>2393882Do you think anymore Updates will come out this year?
>>2393877>>2393882How is it that two different people can have that drastically different answers. There has to be an answer that is the most correct.
>>2393874About 40% or so, DV would be the one dragging the chances down, yippie is very far along
Looking at their Colombia “revamp”, I hate what they did to the 2nd Patriotic Army, taking out all the spice and just calling it a day. Before, the 2PA were criollo Nazis who wanted to make Colombia just like Germany using Nazi methods (for the most part). Now, they’re just “Laureanists”, hardline conservatives who look up to the previous guy in charge. Nu-2PA is hardly capable of capturing the imagination with the same strength and in the same scope as the old 2PA were. No more room for creativity or big ideas in Nu-TNO anymore.I would’ve actually been excited to play Colombia in general, but now I’m less so. What a waste.
(Nu-2PA for comparison)
>>2393924I had palingenetic nazis take over in Colombia when I played the other day. They were called the germanophile faction iirc and they end up joining Germany’s econ sphere and become a pakt observer
>>2393924you can still go natsoc you retard theres actually more “spice” now because theres more paths and not just one poorly made le nazi columbia path that constantly explodes into civil war. i get the devs suck but you retards just complain about everytbing
>>2393933>>2393937Wait really? I didn’t know that, my bad
>>2393927i think it's odd iberia can support them if the central government gets couped but they dont have a path to join iberiameanwhile new granada does but iberia cant help
>>2393933Please don't dignify the term "palingenetic Nazi". It's just some shit Lamounier made up so that he could delete every spicy ideology by fusing them with that and then handwaving it by saying that "it's more like real neo nazism" which makes no sense in a world where the NSDAP is still going strong.>>2393937In fairness it's not like the tag is playable (or ever will be) and he was just going by what they're showing.
>>2393906I can tell Yippe! is pretty far along no idea how DV is but I am hoping for a Q4 2026-Q1 2027 release like the Devs have stated but I wouldn't be surprised if it got delayed just like every update in this mod is. >>2393937There should be a guide on how to get every different outcome for Colombia and really all of LATAM, so many things can happen that change the entire trajectory of countries and they can end up in different spheres and with many different ideologies.
>>2393924>>2393927>>2393933>>2394006i remember the Ring of Sacrifice, but that's been cut along with esonaz
>>2394009>there should be a guideI guess your best bet is to dig through the country paths screen but I’m way too lazy for that. There might be stuff on the wiki too but I’m also too lazy to check
>>2394006I agree but we also shouldn’t dignify the term “spicy”
>>2394016Over the past couple of days I've been trying to become more familiar with the new custom game rules settings and I understand it a bit better now but I do think some autist with the time should make some flow charts for the greater good of mankind.
>>2394009It's funny to me that the Mangooner took over the mod and like a true third world low-IQ dictator he didn't just abolish elections but also siphoned all the mod's resources to his personal vanity project and the devs just go along with this like low IQ cattle. 4chan excuses this by saying>at least nuking Haiti is funnyMeanwhile nothing works any more, the old infrastructure built by better people is faltering and everyone that opposed the great leader is purged using the most blatant room temp IQ strong arm tactics imaginable. Once the vanity project is complete, he even says that he'll leave once all resources are sucked dry out of the mod. Or plans to, at least, assuming everything doesn't implode into a civil war over another talentless hack's visions of a vanity project. Either way, they cannot create, only lazily analyze what people who came before made and then struggle to copy the works of others in a vain hope of recapturing that spark.Essentially the real DV is how TNO is now effectively run like any other shitty, corrupt post-colonial dictatorship.
>>2394006It's worse than just "he made it up", "Palingenetic Nazism" is literally just nazism. Every strain of fascism is palingenetic, the "rebirth" of the nation and it's people is one of the only things tying them all together. It's like having an ideology called "Revolutionary Communism", like, yeah, no shit you retard.
>>2394186More evidence that suggests Lam is a midwit who thinks longer words make him sound smart
>>2394186Looking forward to "Nationalist Nazism" in V&J coming in 2029!
>>2394186>The leader of the realism clique that's more responsible than anyone else for all the reworks and purges is a retarded fart huffing moronCan't say I'm surprised.
