It enhances the reading experience through sound, art, etc. TNO is closer to BlackICE than any traditional visual novel because they bombard you with unrelated events about latin americans and expect you to care. This limits the scope of characters and storylines you must keep in mind to an acceptable amount. In TNO you take a POV of an entire country and you're bombarded with dozens of events about different characters and plotlines that have no impact on anything and aren't worth reading. It's hard to discern whether an event is talking about something important or it's just another "random farmer got his truck stuck". And you're constantly bombarded with these meaningless events with no respect towards your time.
I have to attribute it to so called "greytides" since it feels like there are dozens of writers each writing his little VN and too many cooks spoil the soup. This is also the fault of teamleads who thought that it was acceptable. These people need to learn about Chekovs Gun and how every element must serve the plot or else it's just a waste of space. The only example where I've seen it happening was guangdong riots where there was another "poor worker gets oppressed" event chain but it actually led to something which made it meaningful. But it's easy to just skip it since it's one of many "poor worker gets oppressed" events and you can't really keep up with all the poor workers since every event there's another worker. This is the same meaningless oversaturation I see in BlackICE which makes me just zone out since I'm not an autist enough to care about all of that. When I boot up Mexico and get 5 events in 15 seconds with 4000 words in total I get sensory overload and want to give up. In NVs that's not the case since you get like 15 words every 10 second if you turn on automatic scrolling. This makes reading much enjoyable and casual. In fact TNO and BlackICE are the most anti-casual mods in every meaning of the word. I think many of the problems TNO has would go away if it was a little bit more chill

Speer is getting redesigned due to his previous iteration not interacting with party factionalism as much as it should. All fuhrers have to work with factions of the party in order to get shit done and speer doesn’t cross the isle or try to solidify control of the party nearly enough. Also some goring news, tho not much. Goring relies on the state for his base of power as opposed to the party like bormann does. Since goring relies more on personal loyalty to him as a character rather than ideology he will have to partner with the anti partification elements within the party who tend to be within speers camp (example the technocrats)
