I know everyone was freaking out over Youtube's "AI" upscaling recently, but that was really just a simple repeated pixel upscaler formula, like bicubic or lanzcos, that just happened to make things look a bit plastic sometimes, no LLM involved and no more generative than the upscaling they were previously using. Vtuber artists can't exactly go back to the days of pen and paper - puter is inevitably going to be doing some of the work.
