Elo hells are usually a by product of two things: rank systems and smurfs, but can have entire regions become elo hells ( pros from japan lose 200 MR in average when playing in Europe, and Europeans get to legend easily while in there, as broski confirms) Normally , elo hells are in bronze because thats where the smurfs go, but in sf6 the first elo hell is plat 1 - this is where a new account , a true smurf, will actually fall in. The second elo hell is diamond 1, this is where someone who is good at their character but sucks at his secondary will fall in. If possible, you must avoid either rank when placing cause you gonna hit that difficulty valley in the place and likely rot at the bottom. The third elo hell is diamond 3 and 4. It is common knowledge that diamonds here are stronger than 1500 masters. The demons of this circle are the occasional players who dont bother with the grind and have been stuck there for months if not years.Diamond 5 becomes easier than both ranks because you usually get master fights which gives a bunch of points and those masters are weaker than diamonds, so there u go.Considering this, placing in diamond 5 is the objective, which is why a good strat is to first get an easy character to master(jp, honda, bison) so you pass the plat hell, then do battle hub matches until you can beat masters so you are assured to pass the diamond 1 hell , then take the placements. Good morning! 2026 is here and with it a new year with my wife! I've been slowly catching up bit by bit on all the streams my wife left us with last month and I haven't disliked one. If I had to pick a favorite, though, it would be her first stream of the new year. She made a card for the year of the horse and her handwriting is... cutely atrocious. I absolutely love it. It was a laid back, fun stream to start the year off right (and we had a fun collab with Su to boot). She was full of positivity, which is exactly what my 1st of January 2026 needs. Chihaya, as always, is going to be blasting ahead this year and I'll do my very best to keep up with her.To my wife and my idol, I love you so much. Let's all make 2026 a great year.
