>New Years in the colder region of /awat/- For the South east area of /awat/ the new years brings a different atmosphere to it- The night previously, with the addition of the usual fire works on new years eve, locals grab old run down cars and gather them in a secluded area and set off a bunch of fire works off on them- It is certainly dangerous as some locals actually put the fireworks inside and under the car to see if they can blow up the car in the process - Since the south east region is mostly farm land there is no fear of hurting the locals as long as they stay at a safe distanct when preforming this act- While local law enforcement says this is illegal and they should not do this, it does not stop the locals from partaking in such activities- On new years day Many of the farmers continue to do their daily work but when they go to milk the cows the first batch is usually turned into a precious cream for baking- Many of the farmers either keep it for themselves or send it to local restaurants and bakeries as part of the weekly shipment - A lot of the cream is turned into the usual edibles such as cheese or baked goods but they are usually labeled "Good luck" variants of the products- While it doesn't necessarily grant good luck, it is more of a traditional thing for the locals in the area that stems back to early settlement - From what is known, the early settlers of the area were known to have an abundance of dairy/milk on new years for whatever reason. Seemingly looked like the cows themselves knew it was a fresh new year and needed to unload extra milk - It had become so common that rumors started going around that if you drink a whole glass of milk the second you wake up in the morning you'll be granted good luck for the rest of the year- Sometimes cakes are made in the shape of cars and comes with a free pack of candles that sparkle when you light them to simulate the new years fire worksI'll probably write something about the train stations new years tomorrow

Anyways, I find the whole situation interesting to look at but I'm not really more convinced they are together than I was last week. There is always a possibility due to them being in the same job/hobby for a few years, knowing each other from a previous job, and being in the same friend circle, but all evidence I've seen for Randon being Nimis fiancé is inconclusive at best. But! I would be very happy to find out that they are together and that he was able to find someone who loves him for who he is. Part of Randons appeal as a streamer is that he is an "every-man" and being in a romantic relationship is very normal and we should see it as a positive part of his growth as a person over the past 5 years.Due to the nature of the Idol Vtubering fandom it's very understandable that he would want to keep the relationship on the down-low and I can also understand why some Randonites might feel off about it, but this is his private life we are talking about and he should be able to keep that separate from his job.
