Did anybody go? Did anything noteworthy happen?
1.Yes2.No
my oshi debuted her 3d model there and had a part in two concerts there.
V4Mirai/Brave Group dominated
>>104324668it's kind of funny that Brave Group US dominated a European convention rather than Brave Group EU/globie
>>104324979who?
>>104325014this chuuba for onehttps://x.com/neonshrine_shop/status/1964629429277392952
>>104324290I got a shondo cookie
>>104324979Most of Globie announced graduation right before VeXpo so it's not exactly surprising.
>>104326251Love my maou oshi so much. She makes me so proud.
it's an extremely small convention
>>104326999those 4-5 months of practically silence were super rough but so glad that she's back to doing what she and us jamstones love
>>104329439It was even smaller last year
phase concert and brave concerts were top notch really brought the quality up for the entire con and made it feel special
>>104331858Kicking myself for missing the Phase one. The opening concert was pretty high tier too though
>>104331858that sounds fun. any videos?
>>104336324https://x.com/PhaseCece/status/1964747292415770977
>>104324290Elia’s face was plastered everywhere. Other than that, it was fine.
>>104324290Was there anyone from Holo?
>>104338446No. the biggest names there were Dokibird, Shondo, Matara, Geega and Phase Connect
>>104338528Melody formerly of Vshojo was there, wasn't she?
>>104338975froot too
>>104324290>Did anything noteworthy happen?Merryweather used the wrong announcement channel and did a PA to the whole venue. Yes. Whole venue. Good thing the Reform con ended before that happened. Imagine the media.https://x.com/Merrydawg/status/1964950985882710406
>>104342746Hillarious
>>104324290isnt the whole fucking point of vtubing pretty antithetical to cons
>>104342746I think it would've been very funny if it had happened desu, it'd be interesting to see the reaction of both Reform and the media. Certainly an interesting way to introduce vtubers to Barry from Gateshead and Ethel from Tunbridge Wells.
>>104324290Now that the dust has settled, is it "V-Expo" or "Vexpo?"
>>104345837I guess the former makes more sense but I just pronounce it in the latter way.
>>104345837it was pretty much unanimously "vex po" when this came up in the opening concert
>>104324290Had anoher sixsome orgy with marimari_en. That's just business as usual though. All in all, it was pretty quiet
>>104345837VD-Expo
>>104342746Proctor must be seething lmao
pics or it didn't happen
>>104324290Sayu went and then checked out Downton Abbey afterwards
>>104342949Not at all since a lot of it is about creating a tight-knit fan community?
>>104324290Too many brits.
>>104324290There's a vtuber expo other than offkai?
>>104355758oh thats what those con gangbangs are for
>>104324290NENE LOVE https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UlDv6yvfRLMSwcgQEs3XfPiPq5O6h2AD/view?usp=drivesdk
>>104324290>>104336083>>104336111>>104336135>>104337456
>>104357608Good write-up, VeXpo looks miles behind Offkai
>>104324290The most noteworthy thing was the Queues, I don't know what crackhead was in charge of timekeeping and layouts but that needs fixing.Roca Rourin's singing was a standout performance for me
>>104357608oh wow, didn't even mention the music performances, doesn't seem like an opinion worth jack shit. If I go to one of these it'll be to hear vtubers I like sing. Writing up 20 paragraphs of autism and not even mentioning the music performances, what a fucking retard
>>104345837Officially it's both. They never correct people with the pronunciation, they just always say it must be spelt VeXpo.
>>104358088Are there other events in Europe? I'm sure it's less established in general
>>104336536I want to plaster Elia's face everywhereWith my semen
>>104358088Well Offkai has like a 2 year head start, so they've had more time to iron out the issues. But yeah, they really weren't prepared for the increased numbers this year. Last year the queues were tiny in comparison and the event was almost sold out.
Roca, Phase concert and the BBC were my favorite parts
>>104359128There's really only twitchcon and dokomi but neither of those are vtuber specific
>>104359146Offkai’s year 1 was still in a better venue with dedicated rooms for concerts, panels m&g. It was at a hotel, and the pro to that is they had big medium and small rooms to useOne of Vexpos problems is using curtains to try and create individual space. You can get away with that if the hall if huge. I think next year if they could rent 2 smaller halls that are next to each other, it would work better. Have one hall for vendors and meet and greets, then have another hall that is the main stage for concerts and panels
>>104360692Weird thing is that having been to some events at the NEC (not VeXpo though) you can subdivide halls with detachable walls that can be installed in various ways depending on what's required by whoever is running the event. I don't know why they wouldn't use that option rather than just curtains (unless setting it up is prohibitively expensive).
Eas the indie concert alright? Can any of those girls sing?
>>104361750Are you talking about Idol Anarchy? That had 3 indies and 1 small corpo. That was the best concert as far as the singing and performances go.https://x.com/CeroAmByth/status/1964436954399043934
>>104362125I meant this onehttps://x.com/Vtuber_Expo/status/1955675739233173987/photo/1
>>104360692>>104360968The dividers were used last year, since they rented only half of a slightly larger hall. This year it was the entirety of NEC's smallest hall. They rally need to think if they want to go larger and more professional or stay as a slightly amateurish local con.
>>104359695I live in Portugal and didn't know about it. Too bad, it would have been fun to experience something like that.
