Kson says a large chunk of what VShojo owes her is for overseas events and expos. One such venue asked what were they to do with the payment, after the VShojo closure. No idea if its in any way related, but I got this email from Shopify a few days ago. In the past their paypal integration was handled by an external app, but now Shopify is integrating it. A commonly used ruleset by various adblocker extensions was updated to block an additional YT tracking element, beyond what they had already been blocking, around the time that reports of CCV drops started coming in. So there is a plausible technical explanation, it's not completely dismissable. Whether that is the sole issue or not, and to what extent this issue is impacting CCV, is a different question.
