All lore, zero substance in storytelling, but at least the games have an added gameplay component to it that is apparently fun. Tolkein is good because the lotr lore supplements the story but does not rely on it to carry it. The substance of lotr is in its tale of morality which uses religious metaphysics (guess what religion he was) through medieval european mythology. Modern fantasy authors can never. They borrow from Tolkeins aesthetics without any understanding of the substance. It makes me upset because a novel of any genre can be elevated to a "classic" including fantasy. People deserve good literature, but thats not the market these days. The readers want the flash without the substance.

Its an emulation like you'd have a lounge singer show more passion in a song, but you shouldn't do it all the time. People like different styles, we see that in how Hololive singer critiques are different. But yeah, you do not need to take the audience to church in every song, and ERB has talent, but lord help me, not for every song. I never got too into Fortnite even when it was at its peak on twitch. The building was an interesting mechanic, but it got real sweaty towards the end of matches. So, you had to spend a reasonable amount of time farming materials as you searched for guns, meds, and shields, which I didn't really enjoy. The gist of wine is that you have to discover which ones you like so don't worry about the judgement of others, if you like it, you like it. But the only way to know what you like is to try them.

this is good wine that you can drink for brunch, dinner, when you're snacking, when you're working, wherever. These are daily drivers. For me personally this is wine bottles under $20. Theres so many great wines under $20 and wine is way cheaper in Europe so you'll find these types of wine even cheaper there. So I personally enjoy "troublemaker" by Hope which is a red blend. (I used to hate blends but now I like them) and "Pessimist" by Daou another red blend. Both of them are around $15 a bottle.

Other than price, these are more mature in flavor. You'll know what I mean when you try one. Your dad will know, its the difference between an aged bourbon vs relatively young bourbon. I quite enjoy "TOR" which is just over $100, pricey but worth it. Theres other wines that are super expensive, but you get diminishing returns beyond the $100 price point. Bottles get more expensive the more they are aged. But the flavor doesn't improve hundreds of dollars more.

If you're not a wine drinker I would start with troublemaker since its relatively cheap and tastes delicious. Or you can start with a merlot if you're looking for something sweeter.
