Even the game, while I am technically a game dev, all my experience is in Python, Honey Select 2 rendering, and Ren'Py. Super Pillow Quest was all made with the RPG Maker engine and just a ton of Java Plugins, with all the sprites just being handcrafted on the first google result for "Pixel Art making website". You can make anything, and make it good, if you put a bit of effort in, and hey, even if it's not good, Pillow will still appreciate it.
