Heimin bought the annual subscription to the fan club before Taso announced her grad in anticipation for priority to buy Fes tickets, potential sololive 2 tickets, and the birthday card bonus. Taso announces her grad a few weeks later and heimin get an email indicating they're not getting a birthday card if their birthday is past December (i.e. you get screwed based on which month you're born in). That plus not having a reason to go to fes anymore menas that the entire subscription is useless.With no refund options and knowing that management definitely knew about the grad, it feels pretty shitty to not even offer a piece of paper for people paying money for the service. The fact that their initial plan for graduated talents was this just means they have a pretty lackluster PR team

If you feel like you've hit a plateau, it's a good idea to approach it from a different angle. Learning reading is a huge undertaking but it really pays off even for listening, since so many words in Japanese derive the sound from the same kanji they derive their meaning from. I've heard Japanese people describing "listening in hiragana" as opposed to "listening in kanji" when they want to mean they're hearing but their brain isn't really processing the words properly.

Unfortunately she has since passed but all of materials are still available, including her patreon which was made public.Last recommendation is get one of those screenshot apps on your PC that can copy text from an image or video or whatever, doesn't always work though since Japanese videos like to use those big bulky colorful fonts in their videos instead of normal subtitles. Still good when you can't flat out copy text.
