Like if you could just telekinetically move cells/molecules/atoms (down to whatever level you required) with enough precision and resolution, couldn't you heal living tissue just by putting the right stuff in the right places?It wouldn't need any kind of underlying platonic archetype powering it if the magic just gave you enough manual control.

The witch's default healing is explicitly listed as non magic. there are 4 spells that kinda sorta are healing spells, across 3 or 4 of the '5' schools, You are roughly 20 levels from the resurrection spell and it is in a school that none of your classes even have access to.In my scifi fantasy heartbreaker divine power worked in a very different way from magic. There were healing favors tied to some of the gods. All the spell schools covered a pair of opposite concepts, there was a damage + shielding magic school and a damage + healing magic school. Resurrection was soully the domain of necromancy, no clerics or normal healing mages could do it; it was sacrilegious to death clerics, who were in the "neutral" pantheon.
mouth guards aren't so bad, lots of people use them. Tooth grinding is very common. One time I broke a wisdom tooth in half and scheduled an appointment to take it out a few days later. The tooth didn't hurt, but it was jagged and scraped the inside of my cheek so I had to wear a mouth guard for a few days

I bought a few of the 3rd edition books, but felt betrayed by the monster manual not having in-depth paragraphs of descriptions for the sociology/ecology of the monsters, and I only played it a few times in college but realized pretty quick I'm just not an in-person social gamer.
