The Japan move and the morass that followed that really killed a lot of burgeoning interest in them, because they pretty much dropped off the map for a few months. Not to mention, management loves metrics like that "The first EN Vtubers to hit 1 million in under a year since Myth!" and instead it was "Hey look at least they beat Council..." There honestly doesn't need to be some secret reason for the week break to be upset about it. They were on time. Every stream started 5 minutes before the hour and on the hour they were there and streaming. There were minimal cancellations, scuff, technical issues, and that made them stand out among EN which was just coming off a tremendous drought thanks to the combined (lack of) efforts in Myth and Council. So now everyone who was attracted to FUWAMOCO in the beginning because of their reliability, consistency, and professionalism, is understandably perturbed because now we get weeks with maybe 2-3 streams, weeks with no streams, tons of cancellations, streams at absurd hours like 4 in the morning on a weekday, and it sucks. As these two random girls even said themselves, they like it when idols stick to their gimmick. And FUWAMOCO have not stuck to theirs.
