Reminds me of my DnD days where we'd sometimes get little buffs for characters we played previously with the same DM, like stumbling upon a statue of my Rogue with a archery-focus and getting a 20-60ft dagger (or darts, usually darts, someone here knows how it is with that lol) throw reaction attack for my Fighter. Point is that having your characters from the past interact with your ones in the present is always an idea I love, though admittedly there's not really a DM in this scenario so it'd probably mostly be on the person themselves to recall their souls memories or whatever chuuni phrase you wanna use. Which makes it a bit more complex to integrate. Also the fact that peoples special weapons are their weapons, and not their characters weapons IE Gonathan doesn't have a sword or Mococo doesn't have a bag of money to bash peoples skull in, so there's not really much unique you could pick up from a past life skill-wise.
