Cover needs to change something internally on their management style so their EN talent doesn't burn out as quickly. It's a cultural thing. In Japan it's expected that you absolutely HAVE to deal with "the way things are" because they will never change, they won't be lenient on a lot of things and everything is set in stone forever. Westerners are more used to flexibility after discussing things and having a dialogue, whereas in Japanese culture the dialogue and discourse is strictly theatrical and it's understood between the lines that no, nothing is going to change. But then it means they'll burn through more EN talents than they do JP, and eventually it's not gonna look for them. I'm not saying they're gonna turn into a niji-style dumpster style, but it's very apparent that they have always made planning events a living hell seemingly for no reason at all other than to justify the paycheck for meddling management. Even the JPs that deal with this as part of their culture, and they deal with it nearly in every job they can ever get, it still eventually gets to them too. I'm not hopeful for the future, Cover will grow even more and burn through talents quicker and quicker and they will never stop oiling the fax machines and overpaying the old people in suits.
