VCR, Hal and then Hololive did better performing tournaments since though (outside of Koshien) and Holo is also doing more appealing Big Box games.
Their management never has any good ideas, or even a plan for the future. As livers get old, tired, or disillusioned with the company, they come up with fewer good ideas to bring in numbers, and the new, fresh livers don't get to have a say in things until at least their 2nd year.

They still have NijiU and Koshien for now but, unless something changes, Nijisanji will keep declining and they'll completely stop posing any Gold threat even with events at some point.
