I like Gurame and I liked that video but the volume of Gurame art for Ame’s goodbye got pretty obnoxious by the end.I wouldn’t mind so much if they were grounded in anything real. The Kronii art gets to me because it’s something that actually happened, but so much of the Gurame stuff was this melodramatic nonsense that turned Gura into some blubbering, overemotional, lost puppy retard who’d forget how to breathe without Ame, when the reality was that she was understandably upset about the situation but clearly happy for Ame on a personal level and had accepted the change.A lot of also pushed the rest of Myth to the side to put Gura in the spotlight, which is just fucking disrespectful to the whole of Myth as a gen.

The fact she had no emotional moments at all during her graduation period just makes me think she viewed hololive the same way someone views their dead end office job they dream of leaving, like she had no connection at all to any other en or the fans, also her immediately going back to being like ohh grumbly wrungus while using frogs and emoticons makes me think she never even showed us her actual personality even after 4 years

I'm not the biggest fan of yuri in general but I do enjoy Gurame quite a bit - that said, I'm really not a fan of the obnoxious sappiness shippers tend to insert into ships when Gura and Ame have never had any kind of sappiness between each other, except for very rare occasions. They've always just been two girls who love each other and have a lot of fun being around each other, but that shouldn't mean they bawl their eyes out at strife. Ame is really just not that kind of person, and Gura isn't exactly somebody who shows her emotions too much either, especially around Ame who tends to always put her in a silly mood. The video just felt like it was trying to force something that just wasn't really happening at all.

Unfortunately anything that happens outside of Holo can still be used against her if it reflects badly of Cover so that "open door" can become a impenetrable wall at the drop of a hat. The whole arrangement just gives me anxiety cause it seemed like she was getting cold feet by the end after seeing the outpouring of love she was getting. I really hope she can do what she needs to. Really focus on what she wants to fix about herself without worrying about deadlines and obligations and then come back if its something she still wants

Clearly I am going through shit same as everyone but I'm going through the grief stages in a strange way. I have always had a bit of an anger issue but I'm usually able to keep it under wraps.
