I think it's a better idea to let the album cook a little longer so people can actually get familiar with all the songs. But honestly from the way she has been talking about the topic, I don't see one happening before 2026 unless she is trying to mislead us. She mentioned stuff like her getting the opportunity to do a sololive depending on how well her album does, and generally gave me the impression that it was the next step in her journey and it would take her quite a bit longer to actually get there. I think Lamy also mentioned recently that it takes about two years to organize a sololive and I really don't see her putting in the request back in 2022 when she had very little confidence in her music and only just released her third song. Even now, she isn't very confident and seemed surprised at how well her album is doing. But as you said, she's pretty good at acting with this kind of stuff, so we'll find out in a couple of days.

The fat cat going from feeling like quitting because she didn't like the move to the singing/dancing focus and hated her voice, to being one of the first to have a solo live in the span of ~2.5 years was a journey to behold, and left an impression on the rest of gamers. I got in on it just in time to experience that entire thing, too, and made me very happy to have her as my oshi at the time.But it also feels like she just happened to kick off her journey at the right time and now things take much, much longer, like you said. 2 years to get a solo live actually seems like an underestimate, since Cover can't even utilize their studio to its fullest, and the holos still have to use third party studios for things at times.

It always seemed to me that this conversation with Polka helped her get over her mental barrier a little, so it's not impossible she applied for a sololive after making up her mind about taking her music more seriously a while later.Looking back at what she said back then, I'm pretty proud of her. She has become a lot more proactive about planning her own projects and has put a lot of effort into releasing covers and original songs and now even has an album of her own coming up. It's pretty obvious she is still struggling with these confidence issues, but she no longer seems to let it hold her back as much. Definitely looking forward to whatever she will announce on Monday, and to her eventual sololive as well.
