Also, dreamhack attendees could access the concert for free. The paid concert tickets were only for the really hardcore fans who wanted to be up close.

Peak historical attendance at the con is ~35k, so it selling out would require ~40% of the attendees to buy a ticket.Honestly, if I'm Cover corp I'd probably rather be in a situation where I've sold most of the tickets to a huge venue but there are still some out there the weekend of for some con attendees who don't really fuck with vtubers but have nothing better to do that afternoon to impulse buy and potentially be sucked down the rabbit hole than sell out a smaller room instantly but only to people who are already hardcore fans.
