I don't particularly like Fuwamoco but I don't really see the problem in them asking this of their audience. The issue with asking this is that there's no way they don't have access to the actual sales numbers, even if Cover doesn't explicitly tell them "you sold X voice packs" it wouldn't be difficult to figure it out based on their royalties.
