This is not a corpo vs indies matter, and indies have already been doing well.The thing that is changing now is that talents of the big corpo are realizing they can go indie and still do just fine. This doesn't kill big corpo, for every talent they lose they can hire 5 more to do the same thing. And indies won't suddenly get better than companies with marketing departments and investment and strong branding.But the thing that is changing now is that anyone in one of these corpos should no longer feel like they NEED to stay there, they can just leave and be fine.
