I finally finished the Granblue Fantasy VODs which I had on my backlog for 8 months now.I gotta say this was a really hard to watch series. Ina sometimes has shitty taste in games but I don't think any game she has ever played fit the term "slop" more than this one. Completely linear levels, like 5 unique bosses, half of which got recycled multiple times (oh no now you fight the shadow variant spoooky). Combat that consist only of spamming 3 attacks in sequence and dodging some enemy attack patterns, maybe at best a gimick for the bossfight. A story so predictable and retarded, with insufferable characters (the starting cast is already shit enough, I guess if you have played the gatcha you know them better, but Id (edgelord) and fix-it-fag are incredibly bland and boring).The only thing worth watching it for was the occasional cute Ina sound and her making fun of the awfull story.I genuinely can't put my mind toward what Ina (and apparently Biboo, Kiara and Zeta too considering they all played it together?) liked about the game. Maybe its just much better to play than to watch, but for me it just felt like a worse version of FFXVI. At least in that game the enemies get a bit more unique, there is a bigger moveset and Clive is actually a cool and enjoyable main character, even if he is a bit of an edgelord at times.I hope the studio that makes this goes bankrupt so I won't have to endure her playing a sequel, but since gatcha fans are apparently mentally handicapped I am sure this slop made its money back.
