This is a complete 180 compared to the period in Twitch's history where they straight up deleted the Twitch accounts of about 1/3rd of their biggest streamer demographic all because one of them made a nepotism gay sex joke towards a gay furry Twitch admin, a conflict that only ended when the previous CEO Emmett Shear stepped in to stop the fighting, fire the admin, and reinstate everyone's Twitch account.My point is that I think a lot of the dooming and hate towards Twitch is unwarranted because most chuubas aren't familiar with just how autistic Twitch staff have always been, and they don't realize how good they have it in many different ways compared to how the website and its culture was years ago. I'm not saying they should start sucking Twitch's dick, but they shouldn't be actively rooting for its destruction either, because the reality is that no other platform would be able to support them like Twitch is trying to. Imagine trying to get that ban transparency change on any other platform, it would never happen
