Being forced to meet some work quota or to shill some product is very unlikely if you look at other talents and know how Cover assigns sponsorships and additional opportunities. Projects being denied or shut down: Different people handle this differently, especially if it happens consistently. This could be a deal-breaker for some. This is known to have happened at least once to Ame, Aqua, and Chloe but I'm not sure about Fauna

3D studio exclusivity: Universally complained about by the fans and talents. Could apply to Aqua and Chloe. A lot of things in this space have become easier for a big name indie than a Hololive talent

Perms bullshit: Needs no explanation. Having to hound management and write up a report for every "new" stream only for a NO to come back would be a living hell

Talent cut: This is a big wildcard but it's no secret that you can lose a huge chunk of earnings and still be better off as an indie. I personally don't think this applies to any of the 4 but it's one we will never get evidence for since the value of money varies drastically from person to person

I feel like they DO think like they have to always say yes, they literally haven't said "no" a single time since debut, and we already know that they feel in debt with Cover for accepting them into hololive.

Yes, they are, but even then, they wouldn't accept literally EVERYTHING if they didn't feel like they need to. They way they are acting is incredibly retarded, and not in a "haha you are dumb" cute kind of way, they are genuinely putting their health and their careers at risk by taking all this homework and not sleeping, eating good or relaxing. They are always tired, their voice is strained constantly, and now they are starting to sacrifice most of the streams to do homework.

I can only talk for myself here, but I like FWMC as people, not as products. I love their singing, but we've barely gotten any in the last months (unless you are lucky enough to go to the cons). I love their streams and the time we spend together, but that is decreasing more and more. They only thing increasing right now is their homework that most of us won't be able to experience, and all the overpriced merch Cover produces.
So again, I can only talk for myself here, but if things keeps going on like this I'll eventually, inevitably lose my "connection" to FWMC and I'll have to move on. I'll be sad, and I don't want that to happen, but I just don't see how things can be different. I want to believe that the REALLY want to spend time with us, but streams are always the first thing to go when they have to choose between different things. The "FWMC morning" they stopped doing to get more sleep? Replaced with more homework that keeps them awake, and it's the same for all the streams we lose to homework. And for what homework? We haven't got any covers for months, they haven't done any new orisongs since BAUdol, the vast majority of their fans won't be able to enjoy the cons they attend to, the merch has become even more overpriced than before and they keep releasing new shit every couple of weeks, no RnR for multiple weeks, no cute original streams like the CYOA VN stream... I just don't see where all the effort they put goes, and I'm not sure it'll be worth it.
I'll admit that I'm more cynical than usual today because of everything that has happened, but that's how I see it now, and I don't really like it.

I don't think that's a long time at all. They need to consider timing when releasing songs too. With their birthdays and fes around the corner, why would they release one now even if it's ready? These things take a while before they come out, not having a new orisong yet doesn't mean it's not in the works, in fact, they implied the opposite more than once.
So yeah, of course, no one wants to lose their connection, but people just have different thresholds. It's not that those who don't agree with you see them as products, they just can live with regular Hololive tier content output instead of something more resembling traditional western streamer stuff.
1~2 hour streams were the norm in Hololive long before they were 10% as busy as they are now, but people in this thread will complain about this length even knowing how busy they are. I'm perfectly ok with it.
