I don't know why Japanese Corpos think they can run an American/English business like they run a Japanese business where everyone is in driving distance from their corporate headquarters and asking them to visit several times a month is a normal thing to do.

Then again, I don't buy half of what anyone is saying for why people are leaving or if it's even having any problems at all right now. So it's hard to tell what the exact solution would be without understanding that, first. Even still, they should have never entered the English market under the Cover umbrella without first having an established company with managers and a separate CEO who speaks english heading it.

Genuinely nothing, having middle managers they can answer to IN ENGLISH who do meetings in their time zones instead of having branch meetings at 3AM in the morning alone would drastically improve employee sleep schedules and mental health, alone.

This is why the majority of foreign companies do this EXCEPT for vtuber companies, it seems. Vtuber companies think it's OK to ask someone to stay up to 5AM for a meeting with their manager and his manager, and that's fucking stupid. No company should be ran that way. Even if it means a bunch of screeching SJW Californians start making them preach trans rights, at least they won't be unhappy.

The #1 problem I've seen from all of these reports (again, we don't know what exactly is wrong because we can't trust half of what anyone is saying, they're all allusions to things and not hard facts of what happened) is that managers are putting some of the work they should be doing (Ina's visa, anyone?) onto talents and the managers at Cover who are over those managers and their talents don't speak the same language but they expect to have the same working relationship as if they work in the same office. That's just absurd. No foreign-language company operates like that normally. They should answer to a singular CEO at a singular company who doesn't expect them to do work in Japanese.

But again, what do I know? I'm posting rrats on the internet based on othe rrats. None of us are speculating in reality because we don't know what the reality even is. we're basing this on speculation.

I know it's likely because twitch isn't really a thing in Japan. But that still goes back to why they want to run the English branch like it's just a long-distance version of the Japanese branch. Japan and America's internet cultures are different, they should be catering each branch to those differences.

A big thing I notice with vtuber companies in general, lets not pretend this is holo specific or that holo is even the worst at this because there was that JApanese vtuber corp who did an exit scam on its talents not even a couple months ago, is that they seem to think that people over here care more about the company than the talents. Or that they can buy good PR when it becomes undone over here. That may be true in Japan, but here it just makes bad problems worse.

Personal rat: You can't bot as easily on twitch much harder to not get caught. Hololive talents lose on average, 80-95% of their audience when they stream on twitch. That's not a normal amount of viewers to shed if they watch them consistently no one else has that drop. Can't say for sure but my guess is that Cover is moving away from streaming in general because botting just became illegal in the united states. If they botted their streams and used those stats to impress investors they need to pull out as fast as possible or find real viewers or their company won't be able to legally operate in the United States in any capacity if that's true. They wouldn't be able to stop botting immediately either because it would be obvious and look bad. The FTC is now aggressive about it, especially when it can be shown to have direct correlation to investors buying in, or for sponsored streams to secure higher payments.
