The issue Holo has more than any other Vtuber agency is that they sell a feeling of a happy world.
Other agencies don't sell that "idyllic world" feeling as much as holo does, which is part of why when things go well, they are unmatched. Fes is the best example of that, you don't get that energy anywhere else.
But if there's trouble in paradise, then that shatters the image and the cognitive dissonance gets stronger.
Only two options then for the person who bought into the narrative they are sold: Either it's not as idyllic as previously thought and holo is just a company like anyone else, with some good and some bad things, or the people who had issues with them are traitorous whores who recently and suddenly decided to create a false narrative to enrich themselves.

I believe there's a cultural shift going on at Cover, that has been affecting not only what the girls are/will be doing, but also what is in their contracts.
