>>91510853>How is everyone enjoying the VF5 beta?I really like how they compressed the impact of weight classes ie how long you can air combo someone which has always correlated to the Final Showdown tier list. In the R.E.V.O. revision, all the previously top tier (Akira, Jacky, Taka) and solidly mid tier (Jean, Wolf, Jeffry) heavyweight classes are lighter so now easier to air combo while all the super lightweight low tiers (El Blaze, Eileen, Aoi) are heavier so they are now harder to air combo. The net result being that you don't have to worry about character exclusive combo routes like before since they have been standardized closer to the middleweight with Taka in particular being much less of a pain in the ass to combo his heavy ass since he bounces off the ground more and also easier to use ukemizeme strategies against him when he is knocked down and you need to guess how he will recover.

From the perspective of someone who tried to make a shitty holo fangame over 3 or 4 years ago, I switched to godot and it was considerably faster. How much have you coded? Godot isn't hard to learn at all and it has some robust rollback addons, I know switching engines is the last thing you'd like to go through, but you already have the logic + game design + models with animations, might as well make the switch to godot so your game can actually run, it's either that or an incredibly unoptimized game
