I also didn't expect them to create an entirely original musical because that would require a lot of resources, unless they did it all themselves but none of them are capable of doing that. They were obviously gonna sing songs they have perms for and can be archived which limits them to either regular covers or some vocaloid style plays like Aki does. The latter would not make much sense if they want to also include their own original story in between the performances. So this is the result and as far as I'm concerned I had fun but maybe it's cuz I didn't have overly high expectations in the first place.
