Ya I am just trying to improve the performance of what is there, updating things to the most stable version, removing a small amount of unused mods (I am confident in saying no one will care if the discord integration mod is removed), adding mods that improve performance, and a few tweaks to things to improve performance. Removing individual blocks that are causing issue instead of mods.

If there's anything I personally feel that needs changing, it's Kiki & Co.'s recent reliance on Creative Mode to build projects.
I miss retrieving resources for Kiki when she calls out and asks for them, etc.
It feels less like we're playing Minecraft with Kiki and her friends, and more like we're simply in the same server as them.

I ultimately shouldnt be the arbitrator of what mods should and shouldnt get in. Performance/stability improvements that I offered to make and minor tweaks are what I am gunning for here. Going off of my opinion I have tried and dont like better combat and we already have soo many weapon and armor mods that I was not afraid to propose removing a few armor mods as there are many more left so I would lean against epic knights armor and weapons. No issues from me on the other 3 but again ultimately that is not up to me.

Most of my changes were just updating the versions (and finding a combination of compatible versions) and adding performance enhancing mods, not going to go into details there as it is boring. I was able to verify that almost all of the regular crashes we have had were fixed when we update the mods though. Cows in jars now just dont pump out anything instead of corrupting the worlds and copycats now dont crash you if you land on 'em.
Almost every mod has a performance hit and it is often the smallest mods that are the worst coded and end up having the biggest performance hit so I removed all the mods that really didnt do anything and didnt add blocks or tons and tons of items

The only mod addition that I will note is distant horizons. It adds a very performant client side expanded render distance, as one of the performance enhancing mods I added will drop server render distance if mspt drops too low.
Config changes wise I enabled zienith spawners because they can spawn mods with no AI and no AI mobs dont slow down the server as much.
To the recipes I removed the ability to craft spectrum chests as those can cause crashes and I was not able to verify that updating it fixed that. I also added a recipe for the creative AE energy cell because I remember a Champy wanting it (the infinite energy can only be used to power a storage system and teleport structures)

Always use these flags exactly for the client as long as you have atleast 12 gigs of ram on your pc

Those two might seem like a hassle but are really important
Currently everyone can chunk load 64 chunks 24/7. I would recommend dropping it to 0 to clear out any prior chunk loads and then bringing it back up to somewhere in the 3-5 range using these commands

Kiki is very worried about chunkloading. There is a mod already installed called Chunky that lets you preload a set number of chunks ahead of time and then set the world border to not let players generate any more chunks. The commands there are not simple so I cannot just list a few out but looking into that will stop chunking.

a major problem is also entities, as in the "great rabba vs hare war". i would also turn down the spawn rate of skeleton horses. they spawn everywhere when they technically shouldnt spawn at all. and there is no reason to have the trader pawn that randomly shows up. so if you could turn that off that would help too

This will lower the mobcap a bit. But normally spawning, even with all the mods, isn't enough to hurt mspt. Mob farms, even within mods, are enough. No ai spawners clean that up though

Kiki had the idea of an industrial district far away from spawn. Why not do it in another dimension? There are like 5 mining dimensions that have overworld like spawning and are basically unused. There is a void dim that would be easily to use for it. And there is any of the space dims that would be really thematic, we could use mars!
