From a career perspective Fauna most definitively made the right choice, as someone who doesn't have and grand prospects for the Future unlike those Holos who wish to transition into other industries like voice acting or singing. Staying in Holo was just not the wise choice to make long game, because it really doesn't seem constructive to a long lasting internet career as a streamer .JP? a completely different beast, HoloJP is a kingmaker, but EN wise? unless you're using it to launch a music or voice acting career that can carry itself on residuals, or at least have a long lasting impact with a dedicated fan group. it's just not a good choice to stick with it as a only a streamer, it's a dead end, specially with how few a far between are long lasting successful streaming careers - most people just give up on them, or slowly die. Leaving Holo means Fauna can focus on an IP that she owns, on content that's entirely up to her and can adjust to her life, Fauna is a nice proper lady, nearing haggdom, she will marry, she will have children, she will live a normal white woman life, that's just not something that's compatible with Hololive. Singing Holos (and Gura) can leave for months when life eventually calls for it (like it will do for all women) and comfortable depend on their discography to keep them relevant, but a ride and die streamer with no other fallbacks NEEDS to be present, they can't allow themselves to fade into the background because they will suffer algorithm death. Being a streaming-only EN Holo is a death sentence, at least those moving to JP either have Japanese to be incorporate into the wider job market that will forever follow holoJP, or will probably get dragged into the bigger indie ventures that will follow JP holos when they finally outgrow vtubing
