Honestly I think hologta blew them up. I was kinda neutral on them to that point but that showed me they were capable of making very good comedy. I'm not a ruffian now or anything but if I see theyre in a collab I'll prolly check it out

They're somehow less relevant than Shylily and Bao in the EN sphere, and I've seen nothing to suggest that they've had a massive impact in Japan either, like having loads of collabs with JP talents. They never proved they were the fabled "Gura Killer," they didn't massively shake of VTubing, they just...are what they are, and nothing more. Heck, even Ame had more impact with her weird Not Graduation.

The irony is that since there was only one Hololive option for Vtuber of the year, every Hololive fan must have picked Fuwamoco just to support the blue dorito. So if you had like 2 Hololive talents it would have divided the vote, and IronLung would have probably won again. But Fuwamoco just pulled a Trump and now they're Vtuber of the Year anyways.
