That being said, despite the US being gigantic with tons of rural land between cities, most suburbs have access to good broadband connections in the 100-1000 mb/s range. Unless Ame moved to a farm in the middle of nowhere where her only option is satellite or some bullshit, it sounds like she just refuses to pay $100 per month or whatever the price is for better speeds.When I lived downtown, I had a lot more options, including 1gb/s for about $50 per month from a small local carrier. It was the best internet I ever had. Now that I live in the suburbs, I have only two options: AT&T and comcast, both of which charge $100 per month for gigabit, but they still both offer it and in the past 5 years, I can count the number of times the Internet went down on one hand, and the majority of those times were accompanied by power outages caused by snow storms.

I have had no outages for years since then, at worst my connection was down for like 2 hours once. Dooby is full of dooky. Stop being gullible. Or rather, know she counts in your being naive or too forgiving despite what your gut instinct tells you.
