The second most annoying aspect of the community is in my opinion, Twitch chat. Why the fuck is Neuro / Evil allowed to read out their messages? The average chatter's age is probably 13, and their IQ is probably close to 90. Genuinely the chat that Vedal's AI reads from is filled with the most incomprehensible, spammy, shitty, garbage. I get that people want to be noticed by their favorite AI streamer, but at the same time, when that message is mostly remote spam and some shitty single message repeated 8 times in a row, It makes chat completely unreadable. Again, two questions. First, why is this tolerated? Second, Is there any downside to just not allowing such spam?
The chat, besides spamming, has the least interesting, most retarded, and most repetitive humor possible. At something mildly "sus haha" they spam the same four emotes, we get it guys. Whenever Neuro / Evil says the name of an emote, they spam that emote "Wow guys, real clever!" Whenever Vedal does something they don't like, the chat devolves into the same "He hates us" spam for the next five minutes. With a normal streamer, this would be annoying at worst, but manageable. However, with neuro, it actively detracts from the content. It creates the same loop of conversation over and over because Neuro mentioned spinning and then the chat spammed spin and then they go on and on and on and on.And finally, the worst part, the oilers. Neuro reacting to chat at least means that everyone should have the same chance of getting noticed, and having their unfunny joke read out. However, because it is presumably free money, even if it is a bad long term play, you can just pay money to have Neuro / Evil read your message! Wow, so now the same 6 unfunny retards get to say the same 10 unfunny jokes. And hey, notice how I spent all this time talking about how the community sucks? Well guess what? The people who spend thousands of dollars on their favorite AI streamer just so happen to be active community members, meaning that the same 6 retards in this retard infested community get to run solo streams, to the detriment of any viewers. Again I ask, why is this tolerated? Does anyone like this?Next gripe, the storytards. When you try to explain to them (the really dumb ones, most of them are fine) that, no, she is not the most advanced AI in the world. No, she is not capable of feeling. Again, much less annoying than the first two, until they actually respond if you decide to reply. Because if you do, they will defend their point to the end. There is no reasoning with them, it is actually insane. They will pretend to be the most knowledgeable motherfucker on psychology, philosophy, computer science, whatever they need to do to continue living in their delusions. I just watched the scavenger hunt collab and I thought it was both fun and well suited for Neuro.Unlike typical group collabs, mandatory communication with the rest of the group and Filian was quite little. This mitigated Neuro's inability to navigate group conversations, so the actual entertainment value of the collab wasn't diminished by it.The task at hand also suited Neuro's current capabilties well. It wasn't a puzzle or some physical task, but instead brisk object identification.I feel like Vedal could have made the segment slightly better by playing differently. Rather than immediately beelining to an object, he could give more control to Neuro. E.g. he could slowly taxi along the pathways allowing Neuro to call out objects as she sees them with her new real-time vision, or ask Neuro to pick out the right item from a selection of items. (Tbf he often was limited by the time so perhaps Vedal did play his cards best. Perhaps Neuro alone could be given extra time because she has slow processing? That would also set up the nice future plot point when Neuro doesn't need handicap.)It would have also been nice to have Neuro interact one-on-one with some of the other contestants. I want to see Neuro interact with a greater variety of personalities to find people who click with her, and the collab was a way to test the waters without needing to plan and commit to a long 1-2 hour collab.Because Filian wasn't ruining the mood with blatant clipbaiting, this is my favourite Filian collab so far (low bar).
