Twitch's biggest weakness is how, besides the PC experience (which also can be a pain), it's barely functional everywhere else. Official app for TVs and consoles has dogshit performance and likes to act up; the only upside is that they serve less ads than YT does on TVs/consoles. What they have for mobile is also a sad joke, I pity anyone who has to go through this experience.

The only thing that makes it less frustrating is that there are at least functional front-ends for it

It's really rough and takes either a streamer with an incredible reading speed like Sayu, or a streamer who doesn't really care about reading chat much and is okay with missing most messages.

I can't stress how fucking insane Sayu is at reading chat, though. She's able to keep up with not only her own two relatively fast chats during gameplay, but she often reads her collab partners' chats too.
The only other similar streamer I've seen in terms of reading speed is SmallAnt, who has an insanely fast 4-5k chat and he picks up literally everything
