When are the new English speaking VShojos debuting?
Can't believe Pippa is joining VShojo
>>931519182025 no month given yet
>only poach indies if they are big enough for their liking>doki and mint told them to get bent>ran out of personal clique circlejerk friends to hire through fake audition scams
This year apparently, no fucking idea when
>>93151918We don't know yet.
After the failure of new jp branch probably real fast
>>93152441I thought they were mid-high 3views
>>93152018Globie one is going to Holothe ph*se bitch joining the vkeks would be hilarious
>>93152625The views are from other vshojo whores, nobody in japan really cares about them
>>93152687We need a graduation/indefinite hiatus list.
>>93152625On their own, they get around 500 max, but they hang around 300 or so.Look at Peke now https://www.twitch.tv/pekeispeak, 300 views on prime time Japan time. Not bad, but for a company as big as VShojo I expected more.
>>93152625on their own during overlap time (all 4 VShojoNova + Mouse + Michi) they get around 300 each. With raids they can retain around 1k unless they do debuff content
>>93153046I put the call out in /news/
>>93153138Twitch CCV usually reaches it's max at 2 hours. Hotaru, Peke, and Hestia have averages in the low to high four hundreds. And Nagi is the biggest with an average above six hundred. They share a lot of the same viewers, so if only one Nova girl is on, they're doing something interesting, and no EN members are on they can occasionally get above 1k with no raids. Nagi has enough oilers to do this full time, and the same probably goes for Peke. I'm not exactly sure about Hotaru and Hestia though. Nagi benefits from the fact that she is able to stream for very long lengths of time which is a buff on Twitch.
>>93153704>I'm not exactly sure about Hotaru and Hestia thoughWasn't Hestia the one who kept her persona and everything?Has her viewership improved?
>>93152441whatever you say buckaroo
>>93151918around before or during march
>>93152441fuck off i love nagi
>>93152112>>ran out of personal clique circlejerk friends to hire through fake audition scamsAnon I can think of like 5 off the top of my head and I don't even watch vshojo. If the JPs are anything to go by, they're training some actual 2-3views
>>93153768Yeah, she was a low 2view on Twitch and could just barely break 100 viewers on YouTube. Now she averages 471 viewers on Twitch.
>>93153704>Twitch CCV usually reaches it's max at 2 hours.Why?
This has kinda shifted to JP members talk, but its tough for the west to pierce the Japanese vtubing sphere.I do think the JP vshojo girls will eventually get there in terms of numbers, but probably not for a while. The EN audience base can only help so much.
>>93154089Tends to be how the Algorithm works, by 2 hours anyone notified and anyone who is gonna tune in from the recommended bar is there, before that you sorta slowly come people in, then after that people sorta trickle out
>>93154122the thing is that there's a maximum JP audience on twitch so it's unlikely that they can ever reach the EN numbers, but I also feel that the YT market is so oversaturated with vtubers that they still have a better chance on twitch. picrel is all JP vtubers live and a mid3view easily is in the top ten. regardless, I think that as long as they're happy and they're getting enough to support themselves then they're successful
>>93154340there's enough numbers for jp twitch problem is that they are cornered into specific games. It's basically RP, FPS,FG and FOTM (It's Tarkov this month)
>>93152441>After the failure of new jp branchphasecuck on a melty
>>93156168anything to divert attention from their literal 2view jps and EOP chats
>>93154122Tha's basically what they were hired to do, as shown by how often small corpos that debut on youtube keep going under show, its a super saturated market now so while there is a bigger jp audience there its already taken over by huge corpos like holo, niji, etc its a lot easier to gain a more dedicated following on twitch and establish a new jp audience there, plus the girls are all hardworking especially nagi and peke and are growing slowly but steadily
>>93153138>for a company as big as VShojo I expected moreConsider that they had next to no presence in Japan prior to NovaConsider that Nova streams exclusively on Twitch, a platform which is only recently, slowly, growing in popularity in JapanThere was a real possibility that Nova would've failed outright. They're doing great.
>>93152112>only poach indies if they are big enough for their likingIgnoring Nova they also hired Froot and Hime.>doki and mint told them to get bentNever happened and for obvious reasons.>ran out of personal clique circlejerk friends to hire through fake audition scamsAbsolutely delusional but what can you expect from mentally ill vshojo antis?
>>93159504>next to no presence in JapanThey got kson and (used to have)Nazuna, anon. Just from that alone, VShojo got a big mindshare in the japanese audiences, you can't say that is zero presence.
>>93153138>>93153704This just confirms there's no market for Twitch for Japs.
>>93162937Listen man, I'm a fan of VShojo but saying they had a "big mindshare" in Japan is a stretch.>>93162998It's a growing market.
I heard a Phase talent got poached for this, seems to be some evidence going around.Grim news for both companies
>/#/pags are missing out on PEAK
>>93152112>ran out of personal clique circlejerk friends to hire through fake audition scamsObkatiekat (Froot's literal best friend) was turned down.
soon after some nijis leave
>>93164293they're missing out on literally all vtubers including hololive they don't watch any streams at all
>>93163877they had whole first song of holo new year performance as ad
>>93165559What're you talking about
>>93165587https://youtube.com/watch?v=iH9EJhwhrZIliterally singing vShoujo multiple timeskek
>>93165616That's bishoujo, clean your ears out
>>93165809wait they are all bi in vshoujo?
>>93165848unironically yes before novaall except geega, hime, and matara
>>93166174Welllll, Henya has never given a clear answer, I don't think. She avoids the topic, as does Zen
>>93165488All the people they regularly collab with were already turned down but the catalogpigs keep ignoring this information.
>>93165848"V" and "B" are like "R" and "L" in japanese, they don't really hear a difference between them The whole point behind the name "Vshojo" was that it can be read as "bishoujo", meaning "beautiful girls"
>>93163877> Twitch> growing market LOL LMAO EVEN
>>93166372henya doesn't give a clear answer because she lives in japan. asking about the details and legalities of gay marriage and then deleting the vod isn't straight behaviour
>>93170907Michi lives in Indonesia where they passed a law making it so it's illegal to have premarital sex or live with a partner if you're not married and she gives a clear answer
>>93171101lives in japan and is japanese and has all of the cultural pressure that comes with it* also let's be real, michi is very much rebelling against her culture with how she behaves
>>93171143Michi has a terrible habit of defending Indonesian culture. She's basically said "yes, I've had family members killed in ethnic cleansings, and yes, if I express liberal views in public I'll be gang raped, but it's not THAT bad". And even then she's not considering moving out. She's incapable of rebelling
>>93171143The point is that there's far more cultural pressure against it for an Indonesian living in Indonesia>>93171367It's both funny and sad how someone so openly liberal comes from such a conservative shithole
>>93170372It isCompare Twitch JP today to how it was two years ago
>>93170372Numberkek...
Peke is VERY cute. I wonder if their new EN talent will be as good as the Nova girls.
>>93174872lets hope so
>>93151918soon
