I was thinking about integrating an AI into my streams to have someone comment on things I say and do during them. It'd make me feel a little less self-conscious about talking into the void. Unless I'm hosting the AI elsewhere, that'd mean running an AI locally, playing a game, and streaming at the same time. I can do 2 of those 3 at any time without running out of RAM so I'd have to cut one of those out to keep my system from seizing up. I could pony up some cash and utilize some cheaper OAI model that cost .000001 cent per token so I have basically unlimited use. I need to do some more research first in any case.

If you can get AI to generate text, you can output that text into an AI voice synth tool. There may even be some tools that combine those two features. I was trying to think of ways to get the AI to chat in twitch chat but that feels like it'd be actual "botting" which I'm not sure twitch would like. I think it'd be better to have them chatting with you verbally.

The version on copilot is noticeably better at following instructions and sticking to the format than normal Claude, and people used to say GPT-4 was better than Claude at that sort of stuff, but after using it during the last doom phase I couldn't disagree more.But yeah, it'd still probably need some wrangling. Or a lot of wrangling. It's almost funny just how bad AIs are at that sort of stuff considering how corpos keep trying to turn them into boring assistants that should excel at such tasks.
