>>93599565Finally got around to starting! Gonna leave my impressions here as I go. I'm not that much of a music person anymore these days so I'm probably not able to describe or express myself very well but I'll give it a try still. Track one is SUPERNOVA, which is still new but I have gotten to listen to it quite a lot since she regularly featured it in her stream opening/endings since it released and I really love it and the lyrics really reflect her relationship to us and how she got here. Hi Fine Fox! is track two, it was never my favorite of her already existing songs but it's still pretty catchy. Track three is 閃光のように (Like a Flash), the first new track. I'm really really liking this one, it's more of a cool rock track rather than the usual upbeat pop tracks, I always figured something like this would work really well for her. So far most of her songs have been character songs revolving around her and the world she has created and are full of references. By contrast, this one seems like it would work really well as a more neutral standalone song that I could see people that aren't already her fans listen to. Promising start!

Pretty uncharacteristic song for her, obviously I haven't taken a super in-depth look at the lyrics on my first couple of listens yet obviously but it's a song about love, in particular about wanting to overcome self-doubt and changing to become more confident so that she can express her feelings to the person she loves. Pretty rare themes for her to sing about, but it's refreshing and pretty catchy, I like it! It's also fairly light on the Shirakami-specific elements and could be enjoyed by people that aren't her fans. Track five is Say! Fanfare. It's still great, but it also feels very nostalgic song at this point, great to see how far she has come. It's followed by track six - Storyteller. I haven't had the chance to listen to this one a lot but yet I really like that she went for a more ballady style of song this time. The themes of looking back on the past and how things have changed is really emotional, the song makes me feel very nostalgic. The callback to Say! Fanfare always gets me, it's really well done. I really like that it's placed right behind it in the album. It feels like Say Fanfare is her very beginning and this is looking back at how far she has come and how she is grown, so they complement each other well.
>>93606587Track seven is 星空コンフェッティ (Night Sky Confetti)! This is another new one. From the very beginning this one is pretty atmospheric, it immediately brings a fantasy world to mind, which fits pretty well with the lyrics which are about the foundation of her new kingdom. It starts out with what as depicted in the first couple of song of her birthday live and talks about getting lost in the cold woods at the end of a long journey and a song which became the beginning of her new kingdom in which everyone is welcome and can overcome their past to make their dreams become a reality by working together with everyone to build a the kingdom of their dreams. It's a really hopeful and optimistic song and I like the message that she wants to create a place where everyone is welcome regardless of where they come from or what their past was like, that seems really Fubulike. I also like how they snuck in a little reference to her greeting into the lyrics by mentioning a pentagram (read in English, but written as 五芒星 (goubousei) and then shortly thereafter 一番星 (ichibanboshi) in one of the stanzas. Definitely among my favorites of the new songs so far! Track eight is ワンダーフューチャー! (Wonderful Future) and it's a Gamers song! This is just a plain fun song about their friendship and having fun together. There's also a part in this one where everyone makes fun of her greeting by imitating it with elements of their own. (もぐもぐしっぽの全肯定 was great). There's also a part where Okayu thanks for always being a pillar for everyone this whole time (ずーっと僕らの 大黒柱でいてくれてありがとう). This is not a song I would listen to as much as the other new ones, but it's nevertheless a really fun one. Both of these new songs are pretty Fubufocused and probably don't have mainstream appeal, but that's fine - I like that there has been a good mix of different kind of new songs so far. Track nine is KINGWORLD, that one has always been my favorite of her songs so far and I still love it as much as when it first came out. A shame she doesn't really sing it very much, but maybe now that the Fubukingdom is getting a little more established, maybe she will!
>>93608065Track ten is 僕らの星座 (Our Constellation), our national anthem. This one is pretty connected to track seven in my mind. While that one was more concrete about building a kingdom from scratch, this one is more about creating our community and our relationships. I like the thing she does with shapes and dimensions in this, talking about how we alone are just lonely dots (1D) but by connecting together we eventually become lines (2D) and then shapes (3D), but the leap to 3D created distance between us, so we went back to being lines and then connected with each other to become constellations and shine bright in the night sky, and how 2D is a place where we can truly be ourselves and laugh and have fun together that times flies by. And that we should never forget that constellations can only exist because of each and every one of us. I'm sure these themes resonate with a lot of us, they definitely do for me, so I really like this one too. Track eleven is HAPPY BANG!, another new one. This one is another one of these really fun songs like KONKON BEATS, except without the Fubuspecific flavor. It's about coming out of one's shell a little and being bold and happy and enjoying life. Next is track twelve, KONKON BEATS. That one has always been a favorite of mine, and it's still as good as when it first came out. Makes me happy whenever I hear it. I like the placement in the album, good follow up to the previous song HAPPY BANG!
>>93609445Next up is track thirteen, LETTER. I really love this one, it's pretty much the perfect idol song to me. I love that as an Otaku she understands and captures the fan perspective so perfectly with this one, and I just love the way this one sounds too. I also like that it's placed towards the end of the album, it feels right as the second to last song in the way things flow. The songs about her beginnings and building up her kingdom are earlier, so this one in which she has explicitly already made it should naturally come afterwards. But they saved the true finale for last, which is track fourteen, グローエンブレイス (Glow Embrace). This one is about progress, about how the beginning already feels like an eternity ago and how much we have overcome and how far we have gotten together, but that at the same time, our journey is still far from over and we will keep moving forward together, about how important we are for her and how important it is to keep pursuing our dreams no matter how silly they may seem. Our story will continue, and we will go together, now matter how far, and this encore will never stop reverberating. I really like the message in this one, too. She isn't anywhere close to stopping now that she has achieved her big goal of her first album and her first sololive, she will keep doing this and pursue new dreams and we are along for the ride, no matter what's next. Pretty good way to end her first album, makes me excited for the next one already.I really loved the album a lot! It's even better than I thought it would be, pretty much all the new songs are really good and I can't wait to see her sing them. My personal favorite right now is probably 閃光のように, but it's really hard to decide since all of them are great. I only listened to each new song like 2-3 songs, I'll need to listen to them a lot more to make a decision.

Sadly, the lyrics are still a bit lost to my N5 ass, but I think I'll try to translate them for myself bit by bit. It quite obviously has the "fantastic" FBKingdom theme it goes with, but Fubu wasn't too shy to experiment with different genres as well. I feel like it got a bit overshadowed by SUPERNOVA but the woo-oo's always get to me and the fact she manages her lovely high pitch so well these days always makes me gosling to infinity.The gamers song was obviously silly and cute but I agree that it's not one I'd go back to quite as often if I'm in a "serious" listening mood.グローエンブレイス seems like it hits the spot for that lonely, pining vibe so I can see myself coming back to that quite a lot whenever I feel like pondering how much I love Fubuki in an empty, dimly lit room.Man, I love Fubuki. I have similar opinions on most of the songs and I'll admit you picked up on a lot more than I did from it, I'm not the best with paying attention to spoken lyrics so some of it went past me and required me to look at the youtube lyrics to get the bits that slipped through my ears. Really happy with the new songs that we hadn't listened to before with Glow Embrace definitely being my favorite with Starry Sky Confetti being the runner up as I'm a sucker for songs that try to give off a fantasy instrumental theme. Out of the whole album though Supernova is my favorite. Overall though I think the whole album is filled with songs I think are good and would definitely listen to regularly.
