Cover definitely can destroy the lives of HoloEN talents that move to Japan even more than Hololive JP talents. On a cynical level that is partly why they have been encouraging the EN talents to live in Japan. The chance of rocking the boat during contract renewals or malicious compliance goes down when they can literally deport their employees.
