I don't really have a technical background so I can't comment on why this would be, but YouTube has been constantly falling behind on streams or just flat out not working. My assumption is it has to do with my Ublock Origin because it only started doing this late last year when they went after adblockers. I don't really have a preference between Twitch and YT but Twitch is waaaay more stable for me and does wayyy less random downgrading of quality. I still prefer YT for vods though
