I doubt anyone in Hololive EN even likes idol culture so it does seem absurd when they hype up these paywall concerts. If most of them don't care than have no idea why there are fans that get excited to spend money to watch these concerts. Cover only needs 1% of EN fans to buy tickets but losing weeks of streams for Holofes is a horrible bargain for the other 99% of fans.

I swear they BARELY gave out lotto tickets to foreign fans their time, even if you opted to pay immediately with card. I casually signed up last year and won a stage and expo ticket in the first round. It's kind of bullshit because you can't buy resold tickets easily as an overseas fan, and you need a flight and hotel unlike JP fans who can rebuy tickets through Lawson and just take the train.

General sales are going to be crazy. I swear, they should have made Fes a 3 day event so they could spread it out a bit and sell more tickets i.e make it easier to win tickets, but you can only buy like expo day 1+2 and are barred from a 3rd ticket or something. Anything to get more people in there so foreigners can plan a whole trip without relying on luck.

NTA but going to Fes and Breaking Dimensions made me way more interested in it in general, even if I barely watch 3D live shows on YouTube. A concert in person isn't the same, it's like watching a recording of firing a gun versus shooting one.

Fauna wasn't able to work out a deal with management. In comparison Kronii did find a compromise during contract renewals and wants to show fans that she will stay in Hololive. That doesn't necessarily mean they love the idol stuff but 3D lives do show fans they are willing to invest money in their Hololive channel. Ina and Kronii absolutely hate their sleazy coombait designs so it's notable they are willing to spend money on 3D lives. When a talent won't do that is when they are getting close to graduation.
