So that was a fucking lie, what was even the point of remaining an "affiliate" if she's not gonna show up to literally the biggest event of the year for Hololive?
>>
surprise appearance, trust. why else would she be inactive on her other account so much?
>>
>>93733951
Let's be real. "Affiliate" is just so Cover can keep selling her merch.
>>

Sounds like cope, but ill kneel if they actually have her as a surprise. Same with Aqua because she also went as "affiliate"
>>
>>93733951
Neither is Chloe and know why? Because they aren't gonna be in the event and they said they will only appear again once in a while.

are you retarded my dude?

Ame is just MIA opposed to a graduation's KIA in both cases you know they're never coming back
>>

That's one of the points, but not the main one.
Chill out, not many people buy merchandise from people who have disappeared.
It's more of a burden on sales management costs for inventory control.
I think the main point of “affiliate” is the possibility of return.
I think what the management is trying to argue is that if the talent becomes more willing to work under the hololive name, a comeback is possible.
Of course, the management is not stupid, so if they apply for reinstatement, they will add new terms and conditions to the contract, such as the question of enthusiasm, which will be clearly stated in the justice or holo-device.
Of course dooby is not obligated to apply for reinstatement.
Ultimately, I believe that graduation and affiliate are the same. The talent retains the possibility of reinstatement, but does not seem to be willing to exercise it.
Again, this is not a high point of benefit for the management, as few people will psychologically buy merchandise from a graduate.

There's no need for any stupid "affiliate" system that gives you false hope for them to come back.
Nijisanji's Sasaki Saku graduated and then she came back and streams regularly again. Recently, Suzuka Utako, who graduated from Niji last year, made a surprise appearance in one of Nijisanji livers' stream when they played Platform 8.
It works without any affiliates.

Sorry to say but you fell for the good old corpo tactic of changing the name but keeping it same otherwise. (Facebook = Meta or Twitter = X)

Affiliate status is because Myth is important for marketing. That's why Fauna was never offered affiliate status

Ame wouldn't have taken the affiliate deal if she really believed her disagreement with management could never be settled. Cover definitely pissed off most of the EN talents but for the moment Ame would like to eventually return to Hololive. If management keeps making sexist decisions than maybe it was no different than a graduation but several others including Gura, Kronii, Ina, and Mumei would leave as well.

Yagoo doesn't like having to rely on unicorns and blatant sexism will only destroy any chance of them getting more casual fans. 2025 will either have the mood slowly improve for HoloEN or will turn into a garbage fire with several graduations.
