Gunpla sales have always been strong for SEED designs and music sales did exceptionally well. Hisashi Hirai did the character designs, so they're all decently memorable. Unfortunately, on close inspection, you realize he's kind of a basic character generator and only 3 face and body types exist. Character merch still sells pretty well. Especially since (most) the men have a more feminine appearance.

Infinite Ryvius, Fafner, Majestic Prince, Heroic Age, Gin'iro no Olynssis, and Linebarrels of Iron all see this issue. What makes it strange is that it's almost an instant swap from his work in the 90s up till 2001's Scryed; to then go to the simplified swaps in Gundam SEED in 2002. I don't hate Hirai's designs though. Like I said, everyone is pretty memorable through coloration, minor design elements, and alt-costume styling. If I had to guess, I think his time spent as an animation director influenced his character styling so that they would be easy to animate and keep on model at all times. >>93851877It's more like, it has a bunch of ex-Gainax people working on it. The main leads on this project are almost 1:1 for FLCL from back in the day. They just happened to work on Eva as well, but not all of them in lead positions. Been doing a lot more driving lately and had Mori’s music on shuffle, I have to say, the gap in quality between Future Island/Go-Getters and Sneaking is a little too big for my liking. Feel like she should have done a more serious song, if not hard commit to the shitpost/parody bit. Felt like an Egoraptor, like when his songs tried to be semi-serious but still about nerd shit.

>>93869835The answer is boot up the DLC and get the tear that makes the game Sekiro and laugh as you deflect the entire thing and return with a guard counter that does more than she heals.But in all seriousness the only difficult part of WF is the first flurry which you can block or even facetank if you have the VIT for it. The rest of it you can just dodge past her (not directly into her, mind, because her body will stop you from clearing the attack). She doesn't heal up too much or do THAT much damage if she's only hitting you with the first part. You can also chuck a frost pot at her to knock her out of it, and I think blood pots work too but not sure on that one. The whole "unlock and circle around her" obviously works but that takes so much practice I never recommend it seriously.

Often what happens is the first one catches you and you try to panic roll out of it but that ruins your timing for actually dodging the rest of it. You can safely throw a dodge out at the very beginning when she first swings to avoid SOME damage but anything after that risks throwing your timing out. So if you do get caught by the first flurry, take the remaining hits until the actual time to dodge comes up.
